This is an amazing spot for all meals. Right on the intercostal, its location cannot be beat. The service is amazing. Everyone is smiling and thanking you and asking how they can help. The food cannot be beat for barbecue and the Reuben is to die for. Clearly, a best in Jacksonville.

Thanksgiving dinner was so terrific that this was the first place I looked for Christmas meal. Delighted to see they had ham option.

Very disappointed with our last experience. Just had our company Xmas party here and the food was not like normal…brisket was awefull so dry could even choke down loaded w sauce.and the tenderloin was raw ie purple. Have been eating at this restaurant since it opened this was first bad experience so hopefully just a bad night.

Went for a company dinner. Tried almost all the appetizers and they were all great. Had the brisket with the corn and mashed potatoes. Not sure if I want to get something different or stick with i know is off the chain.
If you are a bourbon drinker this is the place for you also.

Every time our son visits from Chicago, this is where he wants to go. Generous portions that taste outstanding. Atmosphere is great. Eat outside by the water or inside at their large bar.

We held our son's rehearsal dinner here. Table was ready on time, servers were very attentive and friendly, and the food was fantastic. We had a party of 16 and everyone was impressed with the venue, service, and food! They also offer a good selection of gluten free options, and the prices are very reasonable! We are so pleased that we chose Valley Smoke for this special occasion!

Brunch!! Valley Smoke’s Brunch leans a little bit towards breakfast but that is fine by me - how many smoke or BBQ places serve breakfast options? Had the Valley Smoke Benedict which was wonderful but my buddy’s Brisket Hash & Eggs look fantastic. He ate it all before I had a chance to get a bite. Said it was too good to share. Also suggest the pepper vodka smoke valley Bloody Mary. Love spice and this hit the right level while costing 25% less than the Kettle One and Tito’s versions.

I was planning to have them cater our wedding. The lady told us that we shouldn’t have picked our venue and that we should have just booked it at their restaurant. Also went on to say that we shouldn’t book bartenders because they could do it better. She couldn’t give us pricing for our party size and just kept saying they will make it amazing. Rambled on about couples that have called weddings offer prior to them catering, and then told us she was so busy that she wanted to book out tasting 2 months from now. We ended up booking the appointment, even after all of those res flags. She emailed me day of saying we never confirmed and she made another appointment, to reschedule. We already looked past the poor communication because we like the food, but after that. I wouldn’t trust her handling catering or to shop up. To me it sounds like they don’t want to do catering.

First time here, met a buddy for brunch last sunday. Scenic drive to get to the restaurant and got a great seat with Waterfront view. Ordered the deviled egg fried green tomato appetizers which were delicious and the beet salad was also fantastic. Had a house made old fashioned which hit the spot. Will definitely be back
