Vernon's First Coast Kitchen & Bar

I knew Vernon many years ago and it was a restaurant with "cuisine". Now it's been transformed into a lobby restaurant. Service was good, but processed food was not was we expected.

The menu was perfect. Everyone at our table were able to eat their favorite food. Servers were professional, attentive and kind.

We took our mother to Vernon's for the Christmas Lunch Buffet. The food was very good including the turkey and seafood. But I am not sure it was worth $90 a person.

My server was decent albeit slow. HOWEVER, upon arrival (we were there 2 minutes prior to reservation) a dark haired woman server was extremely rude and told us to come back at 3 and not before. What a killjoy for what was supposed to be a festive holiday even for my grandkids. The desserts were fair but the savory tea sandwiches and quiches were absolutely AWFUL like a frozen Trader Joe's item. So disappointing and for the astronomical price not worth it AT ALL. I'm a local and will never return. Also lame assortment of teas for a “tea”.

Always enjoy Vernon's breakfast when at sawgrass. Atmosphere is great, good food selection, & Albania is wonderful.

While staying at this Marriott a coworker and I grabbed drinks here one evening. The bartender was friendly and helpful. They have a nice selection of wines and make all the typical cocktails. This was an enjoyable visit.

our server Ryan was amazing. Food was great and so was the view. Nice to just walk downstairs and get a great meal from the hotel.

We decided to stay and eat at the hotel on our first night and it was easy and pretty good. There is not a huge menu but the food is prepared well and it was plenty good after traveling. We enjoyed a burger, a flatbread and a dessert. Our server was very good also.

We were conned into the Mother's Day Brunch. I made a standard reservation and confirmed with the hostess that we were not partaking in that. The bill showed otherwise for lackluster food, limited options, and stale pizza for the children. Nice job.

Enjoyable Mother's Day brunch. The seafood was excellent and the buffet offerings were tasty and beautifully presented. Service was friendly and professional. Would highly recommend

New Year's Eve dinner was excellent. 10 out of 10. Our server Ryan was a delight and so attentive and polite. Great Service. The food was amazing and presented very well.
