Small place, but ice cream was delicious! Plenty of flavors, staff was very pleasant, and restroom was clean.
We just visited for the first time and absolutely love Captains Creamery! The server was so kind and let us try so many flavors. We even got a pup cup and our dog absolutely loved it! I think we’ve found our favorite ice cream shop!

Fantastic ice cream and superior customer service
Editing this because i’ve tried more than 5 ice cream places in Port charlotte (no judgement please) and they still remain one of the best. Theo only thing im disappointed about is the scoop size, multiple times. I wish the scoops were rolled correctly
**** ——Tried the oreo flavor and it was great!!! I love the oreo ratio. The vanilla was great as well. The place was not packed for a saturday and the 2 ladies working there were nice as well.
Excellent ice cream
Just visited for the first time, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The scoops were generous and the ice cream is delicious. So happy that we have a good ice cream store so close to where I live.
I always love treating myself to something here. You actually get to taste something before picking it, unlike my other fave spot. My favorites are sweet cream and cinnamon. Together they're perfect in a waffle bowl.

Delicious and creamy ice cream. Lots of flavors. I especially enjoyed the coffee Oreo and the blueberry pie (but probably not together at the same time).

Oh my goodness! Just visited for the first time and it won’t be the last! The ice cream was fresh & creamy. The waffle cones were the best I’ve ever had - made right in front of you! Staff was friendly and helpful. I give it 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ and can’t wait to go back!
Wonderful family owned business. The best selection of homemade ice cream. Lucky to have walked in just as they were making fresh waffle cones. The only thing better than the smell was the taste! Fast friendly service. 100% recommended!
