Gilded Grape Winery & Wine Bar

The wine is wonderful and worth trying if you haven’t been there. Karaoke is fun and some really good singers on Friday nights.

We had a fantastic wine tasting experience with Paul at The Grape Winery in Port Charlotte, FL. We brought our visitors from Taiwan, and everyone had a blast! Paul was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, walking us through the different types of wine and even giving us a behind-the-scenes tour of how their wine is made. The tasting portions were generous, and we all left very satisfied. We’ll definitely revisit whenever we're in town!

I’m obsessed with this place. Perfect for date night or just chilling with a book. The charcuterie board is Instagram worthy and the staff always gives great pairing recs. Cozy without being stuffy.

Great wine tasting room and you can even make your own wine which we will do next time we are there. They have lots of wine to choose from.

I cannot say enough great things about this winery!! Wine was unbelievable, atmosphere is incredible, and the service is impeccable. Owners are very nice and extremely personable. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

We have been to the Guilded Grape numerous times. We have been to the wine tasting several times and when my mom visits from Oregon we go just for a relaxing visit have a cheese plate and wine. Everyone whether owners or volunteers are very nice and accommodating.

I’m commenting on a post someone put on here about being asked to move from a parking spot. She stated that she was picking up business cards and menus from here and the food place next door. I’m a volunteer at the Grape Winery and I’ve dealt with this girl before. She gave me the same excuse that she was new to the area and so on. Anyway her story is not true, her husband came out of the Caribbean food place next door with food. The business next door and the Grape only have 5 parking spots each in front and she pulls up in front and takes one of our spots when there was two open next door. It’s pretty bad that she did not like being asked to move and leaves a bad review for a business she’s never been into. How about you tell the truth before you post false info.

Very disappointed. New to the area was stopping to pick up menus & business cards from different restaurants and businesses pulled into this place so i can google it to see what the business was while my husband grabbed a menu next door from the restaurant. I was immediately approached by a man telling me to move i couldn’t park there. I explained i was googling the company we are new to the area checking out all the businesses. He continued to tell me to move as i was trying to ask about the company he was very rude and short saying “we just sell wine and beer” in a impatient rude tone. Definitely wont be bring my business here now and will tell my clients not to as well.

This is an awesome place, they make their own wine and have karaoke 3 times a week. The owns are so nice and care about their customers.

I’ve lived in Port Charlotte my whole life and never knew about this hidden gem. I am so thrilled I finally do! My friend and I had a great experience, the service was wonderful, and all the wine was delicious! Awesome value for what you are getting!!! Will definitely be back
