Gina's Pizza Bar

Had a friend tell me Gina’s was good Italian. It was just awful. Appetizers were cold with obviously stale or microwaved food served. Having the basic of menu choices I went with chicken parm with ziti. Chicken was completely burned and reheated. Could not cut it that’s how bad it was. Old shoe leather taste. Sauce was left over from days past. It was so acidic. Stomach was killing me for hours. We arrived at 130 on a Sunday. We were the only customers. Service was ok. Not friendly. Just served us. Too bad because it’s close to the house in north port and would have been a great local Italian restaurant to visit weekly.
We were wondering if maybe they had the second string team there because it was a Sunday. I’m hoping to hear from the owner. Good luck Gina’s I hope you fix the kitchen. The restaurant itself is a nice place. Nice bar.

Love this place! The food is always good. Love the bread they serve with the meals. Great quality! And good service. Even the take out girl is pleasant and always double checks the order before handing it over.

We've always enjoyed their pizza before. Recent visits we tried dishes such as Chicken Sorrentino, Mussels Marinara, Eggplant Rollatini and Frutti de Mare. All dishes were delicious . The food is always consistent and served promptly upon completion. I highly recommend this nice restaurant.

Solid 4 star but… ordered a special large pizza special, they forgot the meatballs, when I told the waitress, she just said that’s funny and left. Bad service but the food was okay.

The pizza is amazing! I love white pizza! Pepperoni and sausage. Hats off to the cook! The service was amazing Danielle was wonderful to our needs. Beautifully decorated inside such a great atmosphere. We will return soon. The only pizza place I love! I didn’t take pic but I will update my food next time we go!

I stopped in at Gina’s for the first time a couple days ago. I am so glad I did! I’ve heard good things about this restaurant but never had the chance to try out their delicious food. I bought the spaghetti and meatballs for my wife and I ordered the lasagna for myself. This was a to-go order and the portions were huge and amazing. I look forward to dining in to enjoy more great food and a beautiful dining room.
