We stopped in on our visit to Port Charlotte. The owner welcomed us with joy and fun. The ice cream was delicious and the atmosphere was great for the kids. We will be back next year and appreciate the hospitality!
I was on a quick trip near my parents’ house in Port Charlotte and stumbled upon this gem—Howard’s Hershey’s Ice Cream. I had two scoops of praline pecan, and my daughter went with a vanilla shake. She’s had a lot of shakes in her time, but this one? She said it blew every other one out of the water. The flavor was on another level! Definitely worth the stop if you’re in the area.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Went in 15 minutes before closing time and felt bad but promised our daughter ice cream. Howard and his team were SOOO friendly and welcoming. Did not rush us to pick and took the phrase “service with a smile” to the next level. Not to mention there are SO many choices of ice cream and each more delicious than the last. We have only been in that 1 time but it made a lasting impression.
