We had not been to an IHOP in a long time, since the one closest to us in Ohio closed. When visiting in Florida we got to have breakfast at the IHOP in Port Charlotte. Rachel, our server, was great — very friendly and took wonderful care of us. The restaurant itself needs a little updating, but the food, and especially the service Rachel provided, made our breakfast most enjoyable.

My family and I ended up here after trying to find a place… great service. I had the T-bone… it was a little small (or maybe I’m just greedy), but it was perfectly cooked. This is one of the most popular spots in Port Charlotte and with good reason; I’ll definitely come again.

Update:
I was contacted by the location owner and they invited me back and I went with my family for breakfast and it was a complete 180 from the previous experience. Rachel was attentive and conversational, and not just with our table, but others too from what I observed. The food was great and I will go back as I do want to try their steak.
