QDOBA Mexican Eats

Use to be a trainer for Qdoba. Went in and order a burrito and tacos. Asked for a burrito. Employee didn’t ask what tortilla we needed. I spotted the woman who made the food also at the register handling cash and not switching there gloves afterwards. Also live only 10 minutes away food was cold. Portions were ridiculous. Portion of meat was less than it should be. More portions of rice and veggies. Burrito should have been a normal size but it wouldn’t even close. When getting the meat I don’t want a ladle of the chicken juice pouring out the food. Line wasn’t even up to par with being wiped down. I understand a rush but when there’s 4 people at all different times it at least should be wiped clean. It’s ashame cause I love Qdoba but at this location it’s the second time I’ve come across issues and it’s been only two times I’ve been here. Needless to say I got no desire coming back to this location again.

Food was really good for a quick service restaurant. Only problem i had was the employees were not exactly friendly and were definitely not personable. You can fail as a food establishment because of crappy employees.

Friendly staff. Food lacking flavor. 38$ for two burrito meals wasn’t worth the price . Could have went to outback for that.

I walked in here for the first time at the recommendation of a friend of mine. Dominic took care of us and he was so, so, so welcoming and brought a vibrant energy to the visit.

He explained the menu to me since it was my first time there. They serve a whole bunch of stuff, but I went with the burrito bowl. He said they call it a burrito bowl because it comes with a tortilla with it for free (take notes Chipotle!!!). He also says you can do half and half on meats, just ask. They’d charge for the most expensive tier meat you go with, which is totally reasonable.

The price you pay for the bowl gets you EVERYTHING in the bar, including queso AND Guacamole (again, take notes Chipotle!!). In the picture here, I got a mix of birria and pork carnitas. This picture was taken AFTER I had already taken half the bowl to make my burrito. I also paid to make it a combo, so I got a chip and queso along with a Mexican coke. Chips were delicious (salty but not too much and not too thick either) and the queso super flavorful!

Definitely recommend!! I’ll be having the rest for dinner later.

Wow this place has done with chipotle and more wish they could. They’ve accomplished the perfect trifecta or great, fresh food, happy, friendly environment and impressively helpful staff. Everything was above my expectation. Will definitely be coming back

I was hoping that qdoba’s food was at least as good as Chipotle but I was very very disgusted with the quality of the vegetables as I am a vegetarian. The bowl
Was extremely dry. I tried to return it the following day as I needed an uber to back. I was put in contact with the manager who accused me of getting a “buy one get one “ and pretty much called me a liar .Thinking back , the woman who took care of me never even mentioned a “bogo”. Bad food and even poorer management . After the conversation was over the manger wanted to call the police. I guess the manager isn’t trained to handle unhappy customers so he speaks disrespectfully towards them and then threatens to call the cops ! You’ve said in your response that you were going to look into it and all you wanted to give me was a coupon for two free meals . I’ve stated previously , I just want my money back.

Food always taste very good and fresh, amazing variety of customization on your food items, vegan/vegetarian friendly, AMAZING serving portion for the price (they give ALOT of chips too), food is freshly made and you can taste that about it, good drink selection too, the workers seemed nice and helped asap the few times I came in!

Just visited for the first time, the wife and I both had a bowl, all the ingredients were fresh and very tasty. The gentleman at the counter was very personable and explained everything. The place was very clean and there is no doubt we will be back.

Fresh food, clean restaurant and their offerings are bursting with flavor. I ordered the habanero lime steak cilantro rice bowl…. Topped with fresh salsa, street corn, lettuce and pinto beans…. Omgggggg out of this world tasty! Staff is very helpful. Their digital menu is not overwhelming. You can also have burritos, quesadillas and Mexican soda. They are conveniently located on 41 in Port Charlotte with lots of parking!

Food and customer service is spectacular. Dominic, the General Manager is amazing. Very friendly. You can tell he’s always elated to come in everyday to take care of his stores and customers! You must come to visit!
