The Honey Baked Ham Company

My mom & I stopped in on the day before Easter because we received a $100 gift card, so we got a ham. We were gonna get some other items but the ham used up the whole gift card! Dont get me wrong, the ham was pretty good but if it weren't for the gift card; I would never have paid $100 for a 9lb ham. The store also offers different lunch plates(ham sliders, turkey clubs) or meals & family dinners(turkey pot pie, pot roast, meatloaf, etc) to go on regular days but they weren't available the day before Easter when we were there. However, there were some side dishes & some desserts that were available that same day if you needed them. I will come back to try a lunch special or a family dinner to go one day, now that I know they offer them. The employees gave fine service. You could tell that they were at the end of working some seriously busy shifts!

I ordered 1/2 of honey baked ham on 3/27/26 in this store and it is the worst ham I have ever seen. I/3 fat big hole thru it filled with slime. I hand store open it and questioned it with Silvia. Won't ever go back to that port charlotte florida store. Very upset. I even called your store the next day, about 230pm and never heard back. I guess you don't care! Pissed off consumer!

I had ordered a boneless ham with a cost of around $50.00. My husband arrived at 3:00 and was given A bone in ham that had no glaze on it and the little meat was not good quality! Ruined my dinner plans with family! It was the last ham there. What happened to my order. Because of pricing, I get a honey baked ham once a year.
I don’t know if I would get another as I was so very disappointed.

So it's been about 10 years since I've had a honey baked ham. My aunt bought my family and I one for Christmas. Now the ham was good. But I remember them having this brown sugar honey crust. Unfortunately this didn't have any of that crust at all. Maybe this was rare instance but I was very disappointed. Maybe they've changed the way there made I don't know. Either way I just wanted to make someone aware. Hopefully they fix this in the future.

I purchased a quarter ham. I also purchased the pot roast. I also purchased the barbecued pork. I ended up spending quite a bit of money for these three products and I was disappointed.

I bought a package of ham to do appetizers for my womens luncheon but the whole package was just wonky - it looked bad and was just not presentable - I had to throw it all away because it freaked me out picking through it.

The person who helped us order a ginger baked ham was very knowledgeable and super friendly! We haven't picked up our ham so I can't comment on the food, but I know it's going to be fantastic!! She said they're working on putting in new tables so I can't really comment on the atmosphere yet!

Paid $80 for ham for Easter. Ham tasted good but was only spiral cut less than halfway through which was very disappointing.

I've been a fan of the Honey Baked Ham Company for over 20 years. And I can honestly say, their quality and consistency in providing amazing Hams every single time I've gone there has never changed. The Port Charlotte location lives up to my experience. And the staff there is super friendly and helpful. The 4 stars comes from it's location. This place needs a better location.
