“Had lunch there on Saturday with my daughter and had a good experience. Mike who took care of us was friendly and funny. Food was very good. My daughter and I both ordered the quesadillas,she chicken and me steak. Both were tasty and presented nicely,sliced and stacked. Fries were good also.
I've been passing this place for years and decided yesterday to give it a try after reading so many good reviews.
I wasn't disappointed and will definitely be back.“

“Unfortunately our visit this time (we come about once per month) was subpar. The good stuff - food was excellent and our server was good. Bad stuff - we had a reservation but were made to wait 20 minutes. Your front staff seemed flustered. I have to assume the folks at the table that was promised to us stayed longer than they should have? Maybe you put folks there earlier with no reservation? That’s unclear. But what is clear is that the ability to make a reservation so we don’t have to wait keeps us coming to Sonapa. So it was a let down. I think better management of reserved tables is needed and if you seat someone without reservations at a table that is reserved for 5:45, let the party know they need to vacate by then.“

“An absolute Gem! We’ve been making this a regular stop every time we are in the New Smyrna beach area. Great food and excellent service each and every visit. The views are unmatched!“

“Stopped by for lunch today. It has been a while since we have visited the Corkscrew. The service and food were top notch.
More importantly, all employees seemed generally happy to be there! All were working as a team and not rushed. Bri (our server) was excellent.

“Ended up in Daytona for work and was looking for a laid back place to have some drinks and dinner. The Hard Deck did not disappoint!!

First off, even though it may be hard to find, the vibe of the bar is astounding! They have an amazing outdoor patio area/bar and the inside bar area is just as large.

Secondly, the drinks and food sealed the deal for us. They drinks were very well priced for Florida and especially Daytona Beach. The food also was plentiful portions for a really good price.

Third, it was one of the cleanest bars we visited while in Daytona Beach. Seemed like that was a very hard thing to come by compared to some of the other bars in the area, even some of the chains!

Would recommend anyone to come in and check it out!“

“Nice beach side restaurant with great views. Inside is extremely nice with lots of table seating and an excellent bar with numerous bar stools. They have a large outside deck with ample seating and ocean views. They also have an outdoor tiki-bar style bar that is very nice. Food was good, not great and they were out of the item that I really wanted. The staff were friendly and attentive. It was low tide when we were there as the photos show. I would say this is a great bar to get drinks and enjoy the view.“

“I wish they had a better food selection, but the food I've gotten has tasted good. But I love, love, love the service!! Every week we have the same 2 waitresses: Erin and Shelly! Their service is just EXCEPTIONAL!! They are soooo friendly, and attentive! It's amazing. They have actually become friends, rather than "waitresses". They hug us to when we come in, and act genuinely happy to see us. And if you order the same thing every week, they remember it. Can't say enough good things about these gals.“

“This place is connected to the holiday inn resort. Mozzarella sticks are SO GOOD!!! so much cheese, the Philly steak was probably one of the best I've ever had. Service was wonderful and the one guy playing live music had such a beautiful voice. 10/10“

“Loved it here for lunch as did our guests. Riverdeck did a great job on the renovations, clean, bright, tables on the deck ,not crowded in and with a beautiful river view all around. Interesting menu choices, lots of fun cocktails too. We had the pleasure of meeting BRAKUS (not sure of sp) on his first day there as a server. He was quite personable, fun, and entertaining! He will definitely be a great asset to the restaurant! The pesto shrimp flatbread and ahi tuna app were very good. My husband had a burger that had ham , cheese, onion rings, bacon stacked on it.. it was over 4 -5 in high.. difficult to eat but good. * I really dislike when ppl give ratings of 1 or 2 ‘based on an issue such as valet, or club colors ’. Not food/service. Doesn’t seem fair. I can see why they use valet, the parking lot has ruts that rainwater accumulates in, ppl would get wet getting in or out of their cars.“
