What a great experience! I Used a coupon to try out this place and was so pleasantly surprised. Food was fantastic and Mckenzie, our server, was so sweet. Inside felt very Mediterranean. As I told her, this is my new FAVORITE place. Looking forward to trying everything on the menu! Try it out. You won't be disappointed.

I was taken to this restaurant by my sister & brother-in-law to celebrate my birthday. I never had Portuguese prepared food.
Upon arrival, we were greeted very cordially & taken to our table, and within three minutes our server arrived, took drink orders, gave us the menu booklet, explained the specials of the day, & went to get our drinks.
We ordered two appetizers, two soups & one small salad.
When those orders arrived, we placed our entrees & were given the choice of cooking our entrees on a hot stone @ the table or having it prepared by the kitchen staff. We chose the later & enjoyed our appetizers, soups & salad. I ordered a small Nutty Spinach salad & it was more than enough to feed two. I shared some salad with my sister, passed the two app's
& complimentary toasted bread with hummus w/garlic & pureed fig jam, fried calamari
with marinara sauce and goat cheese, also w/fig jam & several pieces of thinly sliced toasted, garlic bread. All was very tasty. After awhile, the pureed Carrot, a Tuscan cream soups & my small salad were served. I sampled both soups, which were different from any soups I've ever had & also excellent. If my salad was considered "small", then the large must be a meal in itself. In any event, I gave some to my sister & what remained was extremely delicious.
The main courses of six medallions of sliced steak & medium shrimp, on individual skewers w/dipping sauces, perfectly cooked to order, were presented @ the table, cooked exactly as ordered. The entree was excellent, & I thoroughly enjoyed every morsel, & there aren't words to adequately described how totally enjoyable, tasty & seasonallied the meat & shrimp w/dipping sauces tasted. I can't wait to visit this establishment again & try a different entree.

Wheelchair accessibility: In the front of restaurant they have 2 handicap parking spaces & from those spaces it is easy to enter with either a walker or wheelchair.

This restaurant is not very kid friendly. The tables are very loud and wobbly well. At least the one we sat at. They gave my daughter a kids meal with a giant glass cup and brought out the wrong side although they did give me the right side for free it was not many options in the shrimp. Left my fingers yellow for days. It was very quiet in the restaurant, but staff was friendly. They forgot to give us silverware, but they brought it out no problem.

First time at this establishment and I was not impressed with the Portuguese steak although properly cooked it would have been better suited for IHOP steak and eggs. I will try again but will not order steak.

This has been on my must go list for far too long! Finally made it, and cannot wait to go back! Atmosphere is a bit generic, but food makes up for it!!! Had the hot stone picanah...YUM!!! They will cook for you if you do not wish to do the hot stone and cook yourself. Definitely will be returning!

There is nothing authentically Portugeese about this place aside from a courteous waiter who knew how to pronounce the names of dishes properly. The best dish was hummus and bread.

I came here with my parents for dinner and my father said, “this is the best meal I’ve eaten in all of Daytona.” The service was really great. Very friendly waitress and inviting atmosphere. The food is fresh and straightforward. My family struggles to find restaurants that please all of our dietary needs, but Bela Lisboa has multiple vegetarian options and doesn’t smother everything in butter or garlic, which is a win-win for us. On top of that, they have happy hour every day, with half-off drinks. If you’re looking for a fresh, home-cooked style meal with a warm atmosphere, this is a great place to go.

Tastes like I would make at home and better! Stopped in with my daughter as we were in the area and saw Mediterranean food when looking for a place to eat. Daughter has severe shellfish allergies but owner took time to make sure prep area was clean and not cross contaminated. Waitress was excellent at communicating about food allergy concerns. It took a bit to wait on food due to needing to clean up prep area, but worth the wait. I greatly appreciated their efforts to ensure food safety. The meal was fantastic and presentation impeccable! Chicken fettuccine alfredo, and curry chickpeas with vegetables. Would definitely be back!

Uninspired food. Photos are great. That is about it. Hummus is tasteless. Shrimp Skewers we dry, small and unseasoned. Vegetables were unseasoned and bland. Sides portions were unequal from plate to plate. The chef needs to start eating in some other finer dining restaurants and get educated. Great atmosphere. Not going back or recommended.

I have been meaning to come visit here for a few years and finally stopped in today.

I went with friends who have specific dietary restrictions and it was perfect. They were able to stay within their needs while enjoying delectable meals.

The staff is attentive and helpful.

Our meals were cooked to order and were fantastic. The presentation was also beautiful. The prices are very reasonable and portion sizes were generous.

The Chicken Algarvia was delicious.

I highly recommend Bela Lisboa to anyone who is looking for a great mediterranean restaurant.
