Great appetizers and happy hour specials! Love the fish dip, it was so creamy and tasty. The best hush puppies in the area for sure. The cheesy garlic bread is to die for. Will definitely be coming back soon.

I grew going to this place and I just have to say the new owners ruined this place. Our server sucked only checked on us once and had an attitude. The other lady that helped us taking over are severs job was pretty nice and checked on us multiple times. The hostess were not the friendliest the food was ok the fish and chips tasted like the fish had been in the freezer for quite awhile. The crab legs were good but they need to do seasoning on them and the fish Ruben is so much smaller now then what it use to be that for the price it almost a joke how much you get. It really sucks this place used to be so good but now I wouldn’t even bother going anymore.

Frozen fish served at high prices.. SO disappointing… My piece of square flat mahi mahi at $27.99 was dry and tough .., I couldn’t finish it … the waitress admitted that it was frozen when I asked her … the really only good thing about this place is the atmosphere… and that’s free…

Boondocks is Back! Bigger and Better than ever!Wonderful changes, and heaters for those 'chilli days' to eat outside. Shrimp tacos, pulled pork for us today. Service & food A+ as always. Come and enjoy their new food/drink menu.

Happy hour is 3-5, drinks only. Went at 4, no bar seats available. Wish the remodeled bar area had a few more seats around the walls. Settled for a table. I would suggest more tables for 2&4 and less 6-8 for more business.
Looking forward to returning and sitting out at the new Tiki bar.

Found adjacent to a inlet marina, the grass roof tiki longhouse is an unusual dining experience. Under the open-sided shelter are picnic tables and a bar counter and stools and a scenic view of the waters and marina. It is a very casual atmosphere, kids and dogs friendly. The kitchen is located nearby out of sight. Beers and alcoholic drinks and fresh seafood are featured. My local brew was excellent. Even my wife liked its hint of fruit taste. We shared the garlic seared shrimp with garlic mashed potatoes and cole slaw. So delicious! Plus, an extra side of golden crispy French fries. With my mixture of tartar and ketchup as a dipping sauce, the fries were lit! Friendly and helpful waitress and reasonable prices. We absolutely loved our dining experience

Great place on the intracoastal with marina. Open air dining plus outside seating. Awesome food great service. Best burger around. Peel & eat shrimp we're wonderful. Prices are fair.

My husband and I tried their new tiki bar last saturday. We got their smoked chicken wings and they exceeded our expectations!!! Shyane and Maddie were super friendly and welcoming, they suggested the lime in the coconut and it did not disappoint! Will definitely be back!!

We dined at the Boondocks Restaurant on Saturday, November 8th for a birthday luncheon for my mother. I was highly satisfied with the level of service and the food was fresh and tasty. I had the Boom Shrimp Tacos, they were delicious. We had awesome wait staff from the time that we arrived, we were greeted and welcomed, there was a party of 15 of us, and everyone had continuous refills on drinks, with genuine smiles and lots of laughter, and friendly dispositions from all staff, it was just an amazing experience. My mom really enjoyed herself. I recommend this restaurant, the food was very tasty, the staff is great, and the atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. I was initially a little skeptical because dining is outside; however, I do not recall seeing a single insect. The weather was beautiful and breezy, and the view of the river was so serene, such a relaxing ambiance. We already have some attendees from the luncheon that will be returning very soon. Thank you all for making fabulous memories for me and my family. We will return in the near future.
