I can’t believe I found a twist cone! I hadn’t had one in ages and I just suddenly started craving one like crazy, only to find out they’re super hard to find now! Something about nobody offering chocolate soft serve anymore because someone called out McDonald’s for theirs being made of plastic or something, which is likely untrue (McDonald’s people, please don’t come after me, I’m just a poor person and not worth suing) and either way, I didn’t really care if they were made of plastic because I wasn’t eating them all the time and a little plastic never killed anyone and they tasted daaamn good! Anyway, the Dairy Bar has chocolate soft serve, and therefore twist cones and it’s delightfully nostalgic! There’s a rather cute little place with cheap prices and friendly service. If it weren’t halfway under a major roadway, it’d be 5 stars all the way!

Slightly ashamed to admit but we came here almost every day for ice cream and hot dogs. Very reasonable prices and great soft serve the kids loved. The chili dogs are, as they say, the best. Really love this place and the staff is so nice, a cool throwback to yesterday. 10/10

I wish I could give this place ten stars !!! This place has been in my family for forever, my grandfather loved to take me here and we always came after a day at the beach for a one of a kind chili dog, and top of the line ice cream. My grandfather loved this place and so do I! Some of my best memories are right here at the dairy bar. My grandfather sadly passed away early this year and right after his celebration of life many of us at the ceremony went for a memorial chili dog at the dairy bar. So if your think of trying it please do, their quality is amazing and consistent and they always put their costumers first! A great sense of family, enjoy!

First time visiting. Stopped by on a tip from Point Inlet lighthouse staff. Value Ambiance Friendly Food Walk up window. Only outside seating. Soft serve ice cream and slushies. Adding a non-dairy selection like sherbet or sorbet would be great! My party had a Reeses's flurry and slushie. Portions are large for the cost. They offer sundaes and dipped cones. The location is off the road that runs alongside the bridge.

I've been coming here for years! A true kept secret Gem. When I say the BEST chili dog I mean it! I drive an hour just to get some every now and then just for lunch. If you are in upper Daytona I advise this place is well worth the 10 min drive to get to port orange. When you turn off where the bridge is, you can park in the sideways white lines on the left in front of the dairy bar. If not they have some parking in the back. (Kinda tight, if you have a big truck) ice cream is amazing too! CASH ONLY but they offer an "ATM" for you if you only have a card. Enjoy ^_^

Chili Dogs. Yep...they're good. Not fancy, but deliver 100% every time. They're all beef dogs then topped with the good stuff of any choice. I like a couple chili dogs then washed down with a dog topped with the very, very good slaw. And the ice cream. An easy 5 Stars for hitting a home run every visit.

I was really in the mood for a chili cheese hotdog today because it's one of my cheap guilty pleasures so I decided to go to the two places that were rated the highest in my area. This is one of them. The service was very nice. I was greeted as soon as I walked up this business is cash only. It's like a small mom and pop. I got the chili cheese hotdog with onions and jalapeños. I paid three dollars total for my hotdog. I will say it's not bad. The chili was good and had flavor. However, the hotdog honestly tasted like a "cheap" hotdog, or Vienna sausage there was no snap when you bit into the hotdog it was all just the same texture. Nonetheless, it was a pretty decent hotdog and good for three dollars. If I only had a couple of dollars and needed a quick hotdog after a night out, I would stop to this business again.
