Dennis was absolutely phenomenal server today. What a guy!! Even working on a holiday like today he was absolutely amazing to have served us our amazing food.
This guy really needs to be considered on the dennys board of executives and I second this motion to be the face of Denny's for all commercial marketing purposes. Seriously.

Service was slow. This is going to affect this Port Orange business location! I noticed our waitress a little over worked, stressed, and appeared to be cross training at the register and handling many tables. She asked if her shift was over yet. Not a good sign. Thetr wete 3 or 4 others paving the bar atea but not doing as much as thos lady who deserves a raise and promotion. And hire more people. Location hS been here for probably 35 yezrs grom what I rememver. Take vare of your people.
We were impressed by the newer menu options and the food always good.

Ordered “curbside” and was told to call and they would bring it out. Called and the lady argued with me saying “lady I’ve been here 5 months and we’ve never done curbside orders come inside” she then proceeded to loudly talk to the other people working about me without realizing I had came inside. Then said “I’m not even on the clock but I guess I’ll do the order.” I’m not amused after working 13 hours and then arguing with someone and having to tip before I even got there. Food was good and hot though even after the drive home.

Only get here once in a while, but our waitress, Donna (Little D), was as always friendly, smiling, and glad to see us. Have followed her through multiple Denny's. Over 20 years now. That's why we live Denny's, they know how to keep good people. 💗

Most worst experience ever we waited at the door almost 20min before sitted as we were standing we heard the cook cursing up a storm so rude then when we finally got sitted omg it took the food literally 30min to.come out the cook was fussing and cursing the whole time I was there that's so rude and unprofessional it was kids there if you don't like your job don't come to work ... First time in Daytona and I don't recommend this one to everyone...
