Dustin's Bar-B-Q

First time there. was very pleased.

The older blonde server with pigtails and her hair was very rude to the new girl at the friend register who was only on her second day. The girl didn’t know that she was supposed to write all the orders down on paper if the person was in front of them. She thought it was only when she was taking to go orders over the phone. I think we should practice kindness to people, especially when guests are standing right in front of them then she proceeded to go around the corner into the beverage station and talk about it to other servers and I think that was really rude and it made that girl feel uncomfortable.

Waitress was excellent

Dustin’s is very consistent with their food for the most part. The only weak point is their “seat yourself” policy which can lead to long wait times before a server comes to greet you and take your drink order. The service is ok, nothing stellar that sets Dustin’s apart from the competition. The food very good, you get two large pieces of garlic bread with the dinners. The sauces are good. Dustins is worth the visit, just be prepared for service to be the weak spot.

Good barbeque stop in area. Smoked turkey was ok, not as much flavor and more like deli turkey. Good sides and onion rings! Friendly and helpful service.

In this establishment, when the food is good, it’s really good, but when it’s questionable, it’s dangerous. I had bad tomatoes in my sandwich (pic), the creamy clam chowder in the public-use salad bar was cool and not kept at a safe temperature, and the silverware was dirty. I told the waitress about the cold clam chowder, and she microwaved the bowl for me, which I don’t think could have killed any potential bacteria.

Great salad bar and complimentary ice cream cone.

I've been here a couple times since my last review, still great service and good. I had their Ultimate BBQ Burger and it was incredible.

Update 12-22-2022. Really like this place. Staff is always so friendly. Ice cream is always good.

Update 03-25-2025. They just keep chugging along. Still very good.

We really enjoyed the salad bar with our ribs. The service is great, it’s just a little pricey but we already have been back. Ice cream machine after dinner makes it fun.
