Food isn't as good as it was when opened. Bartenders are standing around, 4 people at bar waited 20 minutes for second drink while waiting for 35 minute food order, tacos. Not the same, a Sunday with 6 people in the whole place. Youngsters standing around talking about ? Won't recommend after this experience. Second time with friends that was a bad experience. Hope Jose takes hers.

Great place to eat and chug a few beers - top tacos and a great selection of draught and bottled brews. Service was super fast.

I attend this Jimmy Hula's several times a month. We ordered online with a pickup time at 1:02. We came in at 1:10sh. We received our food at 1:35. We were not offered a free drink or anything while we waited in matter of fact they charged my wife a drink at full price. They manager blamed corporate for the online order not going through but when the cashier checked the online the order was there. The amount of food in my to go container did not seem like the same amount I usually get. The food was still good! Mistakes happen but there is a way to treat a customer or at least a former customer.

Came here with some locals while on a work trip. The Baja fish tacos were very tasty.

Every time I come home from college, Jimmy Hula’s is a guaranteed stop. It’s not just my favorite restaurant—it’s part of my routine when I’m visiting. The whole place has this laid-back, beachy vibe that makes you feel like you’re on vacation, even if you’re just grabbing dinner after a long drive. My go-to order is always the Baja Bowl. It’s packed with fresh ingredients, perfectly seasoned protein, and the flavors are just unreal. It hits every time—filling but not heavy, and full of that signature Jimmy Hula’s flavor. Whether I’m sitting inside or enjoying the patio, the atmosphere is always super relaxed and welcoming. The staff is friendly, the music is good, and the food is even better. If you’ve never been, Jimmy Hula’s is a must-try. And if you’re a Baja Bowl person like me, trust me—you’ll be hooked.

There were a lot of things I liked about my first visit to JH, and a few that missed the mark. I loved the beachy atmosphere and fun, laid-back vibe. It’s a shame it’s so close to the river but offers no view.

The food was hit or miss. The Bangin' Beef taco was excellent—full of unexpected, bold flavors. On the other hand, the steak in the Street Taco was overly marinated and too soft, lacking that authentic texture and flavor. I also ordered a side of pico, which came in a small plastic cup and cost $5. It wasn’t worth it—way too heavy on the garlic and barely edible after the first couple of bites. Even the chips were disappointing—some stale, some fresh, like they mixed an old batch with a new one.

Service started out great, but after the 4 p.m. shift change, I was completely ignored. That left a sour note at the end of the visit.

I liked it enough to give it another try, but I won’t be in a rush to go back unless the experience improves.

I’m not gonna apologize for this. My husband paid almost 4 dollars for one glass of ice tea. That’s ridiculous just because he doesn’t drink.
