Food was a 6.5/10, good value. They lie on the receipt about tip %'s. We were 3 people eating and they provided 3 receipts, but the tip % calculations based of the sum of all receipts which is very foul play.

Great buffet, lots of choices, really good food, great service. Excellent sushi, soups and cold items in addition to all the fried, steamed and sauted items.

No, served old food and never restocked the empty food spaces. For $23.00 a person. Way better Chinese restaurants around. Will not go back and service, what service ?

We live in Ormond Beach and have been driving past any Daytona Beach Chinese buffets to Joy Luck in Port Orange since they opened. The selection of food, fruits, desserts and more are simply well prepared and delicious. They keep the establishment very clean and staff are friendly and attentive. Always a treat when they have octopus salad or the baby octopus entrees. We take our 95 year old friend there as she considers it the best lunch outing place in the area as she loves their clams, mussels, shrimp, hot tea and so much more. .

I have been coming to this restaurant since they reopened and have never had a bad experience until today. I came in to get the dinner buffet and my fiance ordered the crab buffet, wants the check came I found out that I was charged for the crap buffet as well in which I never even ate any of the snow crab from the bar. This was never explained to me that when one person at the table orders everyone is charged no matter how many are seated at the table which to me is a rip off and a crazy way to upcharge a person for not participating. I asked why this wasn't explained when I ordered and was told by the manager this is in place and has been from day one in which again I've eaten at this restaurant many times before and was never charged unless I ate the crabs buffet myself, I don't agree with this policy and they only offered me $5 off the price which is a scam to me. I will never do business with this restaurant again they have lost a loyal customer and I hope others read this so that they don't have to experience this same situation themselves!

I want to break down this awesome delicious Asian experience here at Joy Luck Cafe not (Joy Luck Buffet). Attention all readers, all of the reviews that are bad on this restaurant has mistaken this restaurant Cafe for the Buffet version which are two different complete restaurants. Just want to make that clear to the reader! Also make sure you guys ignore Patricia and Malaysia's comments because they unfortunately went to the buffet 🙄. Now, this place by far has top five caliber Chinese food rating in the entire Daytona Beach area. I have literally eaten in all of the possible Chinese areas in Daytona Beach enjoy luck Cafe is top five in takeout. I ordered the delicious roast pork and veggies and I like my roast pork a little bit burnt and they always come through and do exactly as I say. You can customize your orders here as well which I absolutely love. The vegetables are fresh and my two egg rolls always golden always crispy pork and shrimp egg rolls. They always impress me with The delectable enticing visually spectacular dishes. And these are takeout dishes that look amazingly and appealing to the eyes as you can see in my video. My non bull video. I can't believe more people don't come to this restaurant, it feels like it's only me and I absolutely love it. I literally give $10 tips to this amazing restaurant. And every time someone comes in I always brag about the food here because I'm so happy with the service. Always clean here in case you decide to eat here always clean and owned by a sweet and adorable family. Cashier is the one of the most nicest you can ever meet. Every time I come here we are always engaging in long conversation about the food. These egg rolls are by far memorable because they remind me so much of New York style egg rolls. I'm a New York City boy and tongue and taste buds remember how those New York City egg rolls taste and I was surprised to know that the entire family had a restaurant in Queens New York so it makes so much sense that I was loving their pork rolls. So they got that New York taste for sure here in case you're from up North. So if you're looking for your next place to eat, don't think twice about coming to Joy luck Cafe or else you'll be cheating yourself.🍽️

Very disappointed! My wife and I went there last night, she was craving all-you-can-eat snow crab, I was looking forward to the regular buffet. Unfortunately, she couldn't get the crab diner unless I too purchased a crab diner for $40. I didn't want the crab diner, but unless I paid $80 for both of us, she would be out of luck. It's a rip-off. In short, if the whole table doesn't pay $40 each, no one gets to have the all-you-can-eat snow crab. Needless to say we'll never be going back there when the China Buffet nearby at 1312 W International Speedway has much more to offer if you want all-you-can-eat crab that is independently priced for just one person.

I had a chicken and rice lunch plate that wasn't super flavorful. The service from the owners was impeccable, maybe I didn't pick the right dish. I have faith they have better tasting options!

Food taste old or refried they don’t offer any condiments. Selling french fries with no ketchup doesn’t make any sense offered me hot sauce instead. Cashier wasn’t very pleasant either. Going to stick with Ginza instead. Chicken wings and fries were gross.

Bad service from reception answer the phone, cashier, servers. That can’t expect from Chinese buffet but they forget we don’t eat free. We all paid full price and TIP.
