Mellow Mushroom Port Orange

The staff working friday evening 2/25/2022 were extremely rude and demeaning to customers. I completely understand if your short staffed , service will be slow, we were regulars here , we have plenty of patience to wait. but the way your staff and especially bartender treated us and other costumers was completely uncalled for. I would recommend you take your business elsewhere! you should never go and spend your hard earned money where people want to act so incredibly rude and unprofessional. It's a shame too because this was our weekly date night stop. That night we were going to have family dinner and brought our children as well. Absolutely Horrible customer Service.

I work with the power company, we set pole at the rear of the property for the new construction in the area. people that came out look happy and had left overs. the smells were great will have come try it out. only thing a lot of employees where at the back door smoking and chatting. hope the service is good but this concerns me alittle

For how much toppings cost to add on, there is very little of each topping. Additionally, our pizza was on the burnt side. It stuck to the paper on the most burnt parts. Still tasted good overall, just a bit ridiculous for the price, and given that when I walked inside there was 1 table of customers- I understand quality goes down when you’re busy but- they didn’t seem busy at all.

*UPDATE* We had a wonderful second experience. The General Manager, Joey, has great customer service and wants all customers to have a great experience. He seems to have a passion in making his restaurant the best it can be!! He made sure our order was completed correctly this time and even called me later that evening to make sure it was good. The food was absolutely delicious and we will definitely be back!We just moved to the area and We ordered pizza to go tonight for the first time ever from mellow mushroom. I was SO excited because I am dairy and gluten free and it's very hard for me to find food at restaurants. But I was honestly disappointed. The price of the extra toppings was very high for vegetables and both mine and my husband's pizzas had hardly any toppings. Felt ripped off for it being almost $42. Below is a picture of my gluten free pizza with like 5 Itty bitty green peppers that I paid $1.25 extra for. And same with the spinach. Hardly anything on there. There was like 2.5 tiny pieces of bacon on my entire pizza that was 2.50 extra. My husband's was also the same. The side by side picture is what it was supposed to look like with all of the loaded up toppings and what it actually looked like! The individual picture is my gluten/dairy free pizza.

I just had the absolute worst experience at this restaurant. Not only did our food take almost 1 1/2 hours to get and all other tables who came in after us had eaten before our food came. Our food was also given to a wrong table too. Manager spoke with us finally after tracking her down and then disappeared after she was aware of the issue. When our large cheese pizza (nothing complicated) came to our table it was cold. For a pizza that was supposed to be right out of the oven hot had been sitting and was delivered cold to our table. Went to tell the manager and again she was no where to be found. Tables that came in after the manager said that she put a rush on our pizza got their food and our cheese pizza had still not been delivered to our table. Absolutely ridiculous. The worst part was that putting a rush on our food was worthless for the fact the pizza came out cold so it must have been sitting there a long time before it was brought out. Never again will we go back.

It's Monday night. I ordered a pizza and wings at 5:27PM with an ETA time of 5:58PM. It's been an hour since I ordered and 30 minutes that I have been waiting for my food to be brought out to me. This is NOT OKAY. Worked all day, only to spend the last few hours of my night waiting for my food. They clearly don't care about their customers and the disrespect is unreal seeing everybody inside getting served that showed up way after I did. Beyond rude. Shame on you guys. It was a pizza, salad and a 10 PC wing. How can you not have it done!????Update: another 20 minutes passed and I finally got my pizza. So mad. Went back to my hotel at country inn only to open a cold, soggy pizza. And my salad had no fork with it. Had to eat my salad with my hands like a child, and I just threw the pizza away. You guys really ruined my night and wasted $50 of my hard earned money.

Called and placed an order at 7:05 and was told order would be ready 7:35. We arrived 15 minutes early to get a drink and were told someone would come. Waited and waited and no one showed up. Followed up and they forgot to send someone . Followed up again and order wasn’t ready because they messed it up. Happens again two more times . Over an hour later we just left with a pizza that was not what I ordered . Said they were short staffed but that’s no excuse for not being able to make a pizza when pizza is your business .

even being short staffed (like everywhere currently!!!) staff was amazingly friendly and did their best ❤️kudos and thanks for making our time enjoyable ?

We love Mellow. It had been a long time since we ate at a Mellow. We live in Melbourne, FL so we don’t travel past this location very often at meal time. We had great service and a fantastic pizza.

I’ve eaten here many times. The waitress was awful. We ordered pizza. The pizza’s wereincorrect. The bill was incorrect. The drinks were slow.It’s going to be a long time before I ever go back there.
