Peggy's Discount Health Foods

Just saw a story written by a local doctor in ormond beach and his wife who explained about how bad Peggy’s was and it was shut down by the health department, which is true. That would be their restaurant. It never did reopen. They have lost all their other locations and Peggy is a witch on wheels. The only one left is ormond beach, width of course the still shut down restaurant. Didn’t they ever get it cleared from the health department to open it back up? So grateful that I saw the article today by the good doctor and his wife. We look forward to some competition coming to town.

Big selection of vitamins and supplements — clean store with knowledgeable staff

Their restaurant was closed down by the health department. I've lived in Florida over 15 years and Dr. Mercola, my better half have been to Peggy ‘s. But we haven't been back in many many months. I have a video of the expired fish oil I found that I discovered was years old. I don't take fish oil but I made quite the video. I wouldn't recommend this store to anyone. Any of their locations. Rud customer service, and Peggy! is one of the rudest of all and I will never be back. Updated review after they were closed down by health dept. And I wrote a review about all the factual information and Peggy responded saying "are you still harassing us". She didn't deny that they were shut down by the health department, and that they were selling dangerous expired food. She's one of the worst places and we highly recommend you stay away. We asked about the restaurant and their employees said they were shut down by the health department or other department. That's why the restaurant in Ormond Beach wasn't open anymore. Lee is nice but Peggy! is probably one of the most rude people we have ever met and treats the customers badly as evidenced from really bad reviews on yelp and other review sites. We would stay far away especially with items on the shelf that were over a year old especially fish oil that could be dangerous. Impolite

Moved out of State..but miss the very knowledgeable friendly folks and great selections. Still can call to get items shipped thank goodness. God bless them for their time and care to help so many have healthier lives.

The owner was incredibly rude. I had grabbed the wrong lotion and simply wanted to exchange my item. Not only was I denied that possibility but I was also lectured and yelled at for even politely attempting to do so. Won't go back. Dr Mercola and I no longer shop at any of the Peggy! Whole Foods chain in Florida. I made a video on Facebook of expired fish oils that they were not only selling but giving away samples that have been expired over a year. Do not recommend and I thought at first Peggy was a rude customer the first time I walked in. Turns out she’s the owner. Stay far away. PS their restaurant /eating area was allegedly shut down by the health department.

It's sad they chase away all the good knowledgeable staff. The owner is so rude and the young boys that are there are not helpful at all. Best to stay away and shop elsewhere !

Called about PABA tablets (which is awesome!), she said she had 2 bottles. I drove only about 16 miles, and she DID HAVE IT!!! How about that!!?Never have shopped there and am used to Sprouts, Natural Grocers, out west, and I thought this store looked good plus an Independent.It was right before closing so I'm not sure how busy it gets earlier, and there was no other customers there. I got the PABA, paid, and left...and it was a good experience.Often, you get what you give...good vibes outward=good vibes inward (most of the time)...yet sometimes someone is going through something and an experience is not-so-super, yet still okay. In observing, usually there can be 'signs' if someone is off....however...this is an opportunity...to share your Light. Even planting a 'seed' of goodness can offer a rise in harmony...even if it's in a 'grain size!'Yes, Peggy's was good for my experience.I hope yours will be, and I hope we can all expand our good vibrations!
