The staff, atmosphere and food are all top notch at this location. I grew up eating at the original location in Alachua County and now that I reside in ohio I visit Daytona Beach shores once a month and this location is central to my beach front hotel so I eat here often when in town. My waitress is friendly and goes above and beyond for not only me but other customers as well from my observations. Thanks you.

Decided on the drive thru at Sonny's for dinner tonight, while the wait wasn't long and the service good - the food left much to be desired. This is the 2nd time in the last few weeks we have grabbed Sonny's to go and not been happy at all! This order was 3 pulled pork sandwiches that were rubbery and fatty and baked potatoes that weren't fully cooked and taste horrible! I spent $59 to throw it out and we all had cereal. The last order was a family feast that was skimpy and minimal, leaving us all hungry and me making something else to eat anyway! We definitely won't be back any time soon. Sad the PO Sonny's can't seem to get it together!

Service from Marrisa D was spot on for a Saturday afternoon around 12:30 for a lunchtime visit. It seemed like Marrisa was taking care of our entire side of the restaurant but she was knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. We had the smoked turkey with 2 sides ($15.29), the dark chicken with 2 sides ($15.99) and got $5 off 1 entree for signing up for their email club. The plates were full of food for the price and we had some leftover turkey slices to take home. Pet peave when it comes to sliced turkey, we don't like it when the slices are wet, like overly moist, and these slices were very wet. Anyway, Marrisa D was great but the food was just average for us.
Price has gone up and the food quality is subpar. I paid for a pulled pork meal and drove away with all fat and very little pork and this meal was pricey because everything has gone up.

We had a great dinner. I generally never want to go to a chain bbq restaurant, but my fiancée did. We got the all you can eat ribs. Very reasonably priced. Our server Alyssa was so nice, attentive, brought multiple plates, and even found a sauce I was looking for that I guess isn’t the norm anymore (like I said, been a while since I’ve been to a chain bbq) Honestly, the food was cooked perfectly, and the service was great. Would go again.
