This is a really neat place to visit if your near NSB or Port Orange. Food was great and you get to see some pretty cool aircraft. Kids loved it.

Ordered the pineapple ? express pizza ? it was decent dough was a bit chewy but overall good flavor however my biggest complaint is the caprese plate the description is heirloom tomatoes ? what I got was tiny grape tomatoes ? basil ? nope none olive oil I question that one. Garlic taste none of that balsamic reduction got that. On a bed of arugula got some of that. Top with Parmesan got nothing of that. All for the price of I believe for twelve dollars. And this why I don’t like to order from a full service restaurant I definitely learned a lesson check the order before leaving.

On our way home (JAX) from West Palm Beach we decided to stop for lunch. We typically go to Trip Advisor to find something that looks like great food and isn’t a chain. Today we stumbled upon Downwind Cafe in the recommendations. The food was just average but the “experience” was fun. The cafe is located in the world’s largest “fly-in” community. Over 50% of the homes have attached hangars. There was constant air activity while we ate. Definitely a unique lunch spot ✈️ More detail on why food was just average: We both got burgers. The burgers themselves had no flavor, and while cooked medium, were quite dry. I ordered the sweet potato fries which weren’t hot when served and several weren’t cooked thoroughly. My husband’s regular fries were also not hot and not crispy. Again, this place is more about the experience than the food, but it still would’ve been nice to have good food, too.

Slow service mostly due to the kitchen and the water they give you smells and taste like chlorine or bleach. This is prob why the other fountain drinks and ice tea are awful. Bring your own bottled water when dinning here. Other places have found a way to filter it out but not this place.

Guard at the gate gave us great directions to enter the neighborhood. Planes moving very frequently but was not difficult to cross taxiway. Parking was easy. We had to wait but with all the planes flying around, it was a pleasure to wait. It felt like we were having an air show with the pilots flying in formation. Food was great! Son had a Benedict which kept him full till the end of the day. The English muffin was toasted so well. Definitely a place to return to.

Service was absolutely horrible from the beginning. Hostess didn’t take our names then an overweight couple came in after us and tried to skip us when our table was ready. The waitress didn’t come to the table for a good 15 minutes. She finally came and dropped off waters and tossed our straws which one of them fell on the floor and she just walked away and my gf had to pick it up. We finally got our food then she took a while to get us the check. After she dropped the check off the waitress apparently forgot about us and we waited another 10 minutes until I had to get up and walk up to another employee and hand them the check and my credit card so we could pay and leave. I left a $0 tip, will never be back there. 1 Star.

1st time there. Nice place. Service was ? great. Was waiting on 1 person for about a half an hour but they were very excepting of it. Everyone seemed to like the food. It was a busy place.

Last evening our condo group met for dinner. When we arrived everything was set up and ready for us. Shortly after our seating the restaurant was swamped. Every table full including outside tables. Despite the huge crowd the wait staff did not miss a beat on food or drink for our rather large group. Everyone enjoyed the menu and had a great experience.)

Had there black and blue steak special last night. What a joke. The tenderloin was so tough the knife wouldn’t hardly cut it. A real joke at $40. Poor flavor also. This place has a decent pizza, but if you want more than that, look elsewhere.

Awesome little restaurant inside Spruce Creek Airport. The food was delicious and the service was great. Super cool aviation atmosphere with plane models and aircraft artifacts everywhere! You can watch the small airplanes taxi in and out from your seat, inside or outside.
My Wife and I came in yesterday, right at opening. Amazing food and Great mimosas. A little hot outside but the fans made a nice breeze. Our server, Stephanie, was absolutely wonderful. She had our mimosas out quickly, was very knowledgeable about the menu, and offered us some great options from appetizers to entrees. Very polite, and great personality. My wife can't get out much for health reasons, but we are glad we came here! Stephanie made our dining out experience lovely! We will definitely be back, not only to eat, but to see her. She made our first visit Phenomenal!

DO NOT COME HERE former employee here the roach and maggot problem in the kitchen is RAMPANT we all get paid 5 an hr plus ONE percent server tips which have been taken from me, managment taught us how to manipulate recipts to take more money from customers, worst experience ever and highly illegal currently in the process of sueing

Me and a buddy of mine came in on Sunday, and had a pizza and a few bloody Marys. Pizza was amazing, an those bloody Marys were the best we ever had! Service was phenomenal!! Stephanie took great care of us, and our bloody Marys were barely empty before she was bringing us another round. We will be back for sure, hope she is ready to make a lot more bloody Marys for us!!

Came in today with my son, and sat outside on the patio. Hoping to see some plane traffic, but not much going on. We each got a sandwich. Not too bad. Not very busy at the time we came. Nice area. Best part, out waitress, Stephanie, made us feel welcomed, had our food out quick, and never had to wait for our drinks to be refilled. Very nice, and pleasant.
