Amazing sushi at an unbelievable price point! This is legit, top shelf sushi right here in Port Orange. I’ve eaten sushi all over this country and in three major cities in Japan and I would put this right up there with the best I’ve ever had. If you haven’t tried YuMi you are missing out!
Had an amazing time a YuMi i had a port orange roll and shrimp tempura they were both delicious some really great seaweed salad and incredible drinks including a saporo beer and a pineapple sake bomb suggested my the owner Danny who was super helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for some delicious sushi and a great Japanese inspired atmosphere. Awesome date night spot or a great spot for meeting up with friends for drinks. 10/10

YuMi Sushi Port Orange has been elevated by new management and excellent staff. The restaurant is very clean and cute, with a new decor that has a very night life and modern Tokyo-esque feel with K-Pop flair. The food is consistently delicious, with choices like tuna tataki, sashimi of escolar and eel, jade and super crunch rolls, and the Zombie roll, which was one of the best sushi rolls ever eaten. The dumplings are a must-try. Hank is the best American sushi chef on the planet, and together with waiters like Kim and Lily, they make an excellent team. The staff are always kind, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. They truly care about their customers, once stepping in without hesitation to fix a friend’s accidentally too-spicy order. Service is outstanding, and though food can take a little while, it is worth waiting for. The price is very reasonable. This Japanese restaurant is small but worth the investment of time. Make this your new favorite place.
