Sorrento please reopen somewhere!!!! My husband and I had you cater our wedding back in April of 2023. We searched high and low. You guys were THE BEST!!! So many people at wedding asked where we got the desserts. We made special trip and drive an hour just to get some delicious desserts from you guys. When you guys closed my husband and I prayed every day that you would reopen. However once we heard the store was reopened we were saddened to know that it was a different owner but hopeful that it would be the same. Unfortunately the cookies at this new place are tasteless and dry. My husband calls them dust cookies. Hopefully you will reconsider an open somewhere preferably closer to Brooksville. We will keep praying! Please reopen soon!

The owner doesn't care about fixing up this location, only expanding like any other big coorperation. He can't be bothered to hear out employees concerns about the unhygienic state of the building. Instead he leaves the whole upstairs abandoned full of open food bags, exposed insulation and mold growing from moisture getting in and settling. A fine habitat for rats to populate. But instead of closing down to fix the problem sooner, he chooses to ignore the problem, keep the place open and even make bold plans to expand. I would not trust a word out of his mouth and certainly never eat or drink anything from this establishment. Completly disgusting, unprofessional and dreadful to work at.

I'm in North Carolina and wanted a Mother's day cake delivered to a couple I called and they came through the lady called and said how good it was she said it was the best red velvet cake she ever eat the girl I spoke with on the phone was so so Nice thanks Sorrento

The plaza doesn't look very maintained, the best way I know to explain it is dingy. But I know that's not the businesses responsibility, it is of the landlord/owner. Yet Sorrento has done what they can to beautify their space with some decor outside leading into the inside. On the inside the atmosphere is operable, they were playing some good music and the customer service is good. I don't know how long they have been open but having some updates completed inside would look very nice and change up grim feel form the outside that is semi present on the inside. I did enjoy what I ordered and I appreciate the staff for their accommodation.

For the first time since I started getting pastries from Sorrento's I am disappointed. We got cannolis lobster claws and pasticiotti because that was all they had at the end of the day. The pasticiotti tasted old. The custard inside was actually hard to the touch as well as the ricotta filling in others. The pastry was not fresh kind of like pie crust that sat for a few days. I regret choosing the pastries instead of a birthday cake for my birthday today. It is sad too that cannolis from publix were just as good as a pastry shop. Go figure that one . For the price we paid we shouldn't have gotten what we were given and they ended up in the trash. So disappointing

I genuinely don't usually give a poor review but this bakery was recommended to me by a few people so we checked it out today. We got the eclair, honestly the weirdest and worst eclair I've ever had. The custard inside was chewy and it was like chewing on a stick of margarine butter. I got the cheesecake/chocolate cake slice. It was okay, it just seemed stale like it had been sitting for a long time. The cake separated from the cheesecake and the textures were weird. Our friend got the raspberry cake that had some kind of cream on it, he didn't say much but he took a bite or two and just said "nope". The iced latte was good, I will say. Unfortunately the lady behind the counter wasn't even friendly. We asked a couple of questions and she treated us like a burden and was very short with us. We tried to conversate a bit because the place was dead and we wanted to be nice but she obviously wasn't interested. We ate outside, the seating area is behind a fence with fake grass on it and it is just an odd setting that definitely doesn't get much attention. Overall, this was a major letdown after the recommendation we got. My husband was truly sick to his stomach after he took 2 bites of the eclair. Unfortunately, we won't be back.

I've been travelling across 3 Counties for 6 years to eat their Pastries & Breads & Espresso. Usually GREAT, but today they were inconsistent: The Lobster Tail with Connolli Cream was the best they've ever made, and that I've ever tasted (and I'm from the land of Italian Bakeries - Brooklyn & N.J.). But, the mini Rum Babba tasted like it was soaked in water, instead of a sweet Rum sauce. "Wha hoppin' ?!?" I pray it is not the beginning of the end.

If I had a title it would be add Sorrento Sweets to your bucket list. I wish we had a place in Michigan this good I always read the reviews and this place got all 5 star's.I had the tirmasui and my better half shared that with me the iced mocca coffee was scrumptious. But I kid you not that tirmasui was the BEST I have ever eatenI also got the wedding cake cookies and they melted in your mouth they were that fresh.So Bravo to this family owned business everything was OUTSTANDING and I will be back before my vacation ends.
