Brisket is KILLER. Worth the up charge on a combo. Homemade BBQ sauce is phenomenal. Sweet and spicy has habanero and the sweet bourbon is pretty great too (considering it's not a Kentucky made sauce )
Blues music playing on the speakers makes for a great ambiance. Small hole in the wall place, but really great food and food smells amazing from the street!

Had high hopes based on reviews, but I left slightly disappointed. Small place inside, but enjoyable outdoor patio for larger groups.
Our sever was so nice, but was running his ass off on a Sunday afternoon so it wasn’t super fast service.
I got the 2 plate combo with pulled pork, an $8 up-charge for brisket, baked beans, and collard greens.
The meat was barely lukewarm and both were super fatty (more than a “normal” amount). The flavor was ok, but the sauce choices were “meh”.
Really enjoyed the baked beans - that was the best thing I tried. disappointing for a 40 BBQ meal that I wanted so badly to love.

This is a must when you’re in town. We had the pork stuffed potatoes, chicken plate with mac and cheese and collards, and rib sandwich with potato salad. Everything was amazing and the service was fantastic.

Went yesterday afternoon around 2:30 and it was the perfect time. Got a menu, picked a place to sit, ordered at the bar. I love that kind of set up. I had the brisket baker potato and WOW. I'm not big on bbq, but this place knows how to do it! The grape habanero sauce was so perfect with it.. had to have the smoked mac n cheese. What do ya know, that was perfect too. Can't wait to come back and bring friends. Great outdoor seating!

Don’t be deterred by the entrance, there’s a nicely shaded patio space outback that uses the walls from surrounding building spaces. Food is great, tasty nachos and the largest baked potato we have ever seen.
