Food was ok service was excellent. Shrimp Po Boy was excellent but the fish tacos were ok. What I didn’t like was the coleslaw was too thick, sweet and creamy and lacked flavor. I was expecting a little more vinegar taste. To me that ruined the fish tacos. Cheese grits didn’t taste like cheese grits but with a little salt it was ok. I will be back to try something new.
Shrimp and fish seem fresh. We made a low country boil Sunday night. I went back today for tuna, mahi mahi, and triple tail for surf and turf tonight. The counter help is knowledgeable and helpful.
Stop here for lunch before hitting the beach!! Grab a lb of cleaned/peeled shrimp with your favorite seasoning and a gumbo. Best meal for 2 for 30$. Beer/wine and affordable keepsakes!!! T shirts that last forever!!!! Awsome friendly staff. Don’t forget your bait and ice. 🏖️
