KetchAFire Jerk and Seafood

I was planning a 90th birthday for my grandmother, and I looked at a few Caribbean places. Shaquille immediately put me at ease with his professionalism and quick responses. I was in Cali while planning a party in Florida, I was anxious but Ketchafire was quick to call me after I made a catering inquiry and followed through with an invoice and even made adjustments to the invoice in the same day. I can't thank you guys enough. I was given a pickup time, and they held true to the exact time. All my food was ready! Now to taste the food...10/10! My family loved everything, the fish, salmon, ribs, and jerk chicken were 👏🏾amazing. My favorite was the jerk chicken and salmon! Thank you for helping me pull this off from miles away. Thank you for being so professional and for provoding deliciousness. My family asked over and over which restaurant everything was from. We'll definitely be back.

Jerk Chicken was so damn good!! Fresh and juicy, not to much fire not to little done just right!! Rasta Mac n cheese was delicious too! 💯💯💯

Omg, the Loaded Jerk Rasta Mac n cheese from Ketchafire Jerk and Seafood is straight up delicious! Packed with nothing but flavor! If you are a fan of jerk, then you definitely need to try this. If you’re not, then you need to expand your horizons because you’re missing out on greatness!

OMG! Why haven’t I tried this place sooner!?! We got an order of the bone in jerk chicken with Mac n cheese and cabbage medley and an order of boneless jerk chicken with rice and peas and more cabbage medley. FIRE FIRE FIRE! That Mac n cheese is NEXT LEVEL. Mad flavor! The chicken was smoked to perfection and the veggies were bangin! Will def be frequenting this hotspot more. Get you some!

Vegetarian options: Veggies were so fire! Highly recommend. Can’t wait to order from here again.

My husband loves seafood and we definitely find Ketchafire at the right time since there is not a lot of options here other than fast food. The food was delicious the flavor was right. My kids loves it too. That lovely lady that took our order was super pleasant and welcoming. Will definitely be our new spot.

The prices on the menu are outdated and the staff did not seem at all concerned or provide an explanation. The shrimp was very good but only 5 of them for a serving seemed very skimpy. The chicken was fine. The serving of cabbage was huge but pretty bland. There is no place to sit to wait for the order. A bench or simmering would be nice.

After watching the recent Guy Fieri show on food network and the fact it was filmed in our area, we had to give them a try. We were not disappointed in Shaquille's culinary abilities and food quality. Shaquille took the time ,while we waited on our dinner, to talk to my father about the show and his upbringing and desire to share his families' recipes to the community. We ordered the Jerk Chicken and Pork combo and we were served ample portions. The rice and beans were fantastic and the jerk food is not overly hot, but has the right amount of heat to allow you to enjoy your meal and also take you down memory lane back to the islands. To Shaquille and his family we thank you for the amazing experience and wish you the best in your food ventures and desire to move to a storefront. We will be back and eager to try more of your culinary creations.

This is the absolute best Caribbean food truck in Florida. The chef prepares his meat fresh every day and has the best secret-recipe jerk sauce. Our favorite is the loaded jerk fries 🤤 we also get a jerk turkey from them every year for thanksgiving!!

Well I’m only reviewing based on the interaction my husband and I had with whoever is working the truck today. We passed the truck sitting at the Sunoco gas station. We decided to come back and get gas and get some Jerk chicken before heading to the beach. It was 11:58am when we pulled in to get gas. While my husband got gas I walked over to the truck. It was closed up except the back door. He told me to knock and ask when they would be opening. No one came to the door. So he told me to walk to the back of the truck where I asked the person who clearly saw me what time they would be opening. She looked right at me and didn’t say a word. So I walked away. I looked up the truck schedule online to see when they opened but in the meantime my husband walked over to ask what time. He said when he walked up she kinda just shewed him away and said they didn’t open until 12:00pm. At this point it’s after 12:00pm. So he walks back and gets in the truck and tells me what she said. So you lost a sale due to rudeness! We really like jerk chicken and would have loved to try some based on other reviews of the actual food. I guess we just won’t know what it tastes like because service was just plain rude!
