Meating Street Steak & Seafood

We had an amazing experience at Meating Street, and a big part of that was our wonderful waitress, Josie! From the moment we sat down, she greeted us with a warm smile and such a bubbly, positive attitude. She was friendly, attentive, and made sure our family had everything we needed throughout our meal.

Josie went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and her great personality truly made our dining experience even more enjoyable. It’s not every day you come across someone who genuinely loves what they do, and it really showed. Thank you, Josie, for your outstanding service, we’ll definitely be back and hope to have you as our server again!

Excellent service with Mackenzie!! Our server was friendly, attentive, and professional throughout our meal. He made sure we had everything we needed, checked on us regularly without being intrusive, and made us feel truly welcome. His outstanding service made our dining experience even more enjoyable. Seafood was not fresh at all. Came in for happy hour and was beyond disappointed with the quality of the oysters and shrimp. They had the manager come over to see what we could do. When told him it didn’t taste fresh and the shrimp was rubbery and tasted off. We also showed him that the outside of the oyster was dirty and not cleaned fully. he then said “well you ate half of it so I can maybe give you half off. Seafood is tricky.” Then told us there was no need to scrub the outside of any oyster.

Seafood is tricky? Saying that as a seafood restaurant manager is crazy work imo

Horrible service and incredibly rude bartender, shrimp tasted fishy and oysters were gritty and some of the worst I’ve ever tasted.

Thank you Frank for all your help with the Welcome Dinner. The restaurant and staff did an incredible job on Friday, July 3rd for our residency program welcome dinner. Our servers Nate and Gianna did a spectacular job! They were very attentive to everyone throughout the evening and everybody had a great time. Thank you for accommodating our large group and we hope to use the venue again soon.
