This bakery is always awesome. However, I specifically went in today to get some gluten free pastries, as several other reviewers mentioned them. The young woman who assisted me said the only gluten free items were the packaged Tate cookies. Very disappointing.
I wanted to update my review as I am too hooked on this place to ever just stay away. I really do love this bakery. I always get the mozzarella salad with balsamic & some canollis. I also buy crab claws & pepper shooters sometimes as well. I was a little worried one time when I bought some canollis thinking that the recipe was changed, but after finding out why they tasted off I continued to buy them & I am so happy to know that it was not the bakery's fault....
I got some pistachio cannoli and real olive oil which is hard to find. Once you've tasted the difference, you can never buy cheap oil again. I also purchased some imported pasta which was delicious. Again, once you've tried it you can never go back.
