I feel in love with this place. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable in all of their products and the coffee is just as good as everything else there!!!! It's really cool atmosphere inside or outside highly recommend! Kava is awesome way better than alcohol in my opinion!

It's a very trendy friendly vibe. I myself do not drink kratom or anything like that however their coffee is amazing! My brother and sister are frequents at Kava and they have an awesome relationship with all the staff and from what I have seen the same goes with just about every single person that I've ever seen come through their doors. An extra really neat bonus is they are housed in the historic downtown Punta Gorda train depot. Their walls brandish historical pictures of the past, some of the train depots original furnishings such as the old mail slots, the patch in style phone and some of the hard wood throughout the building just to name a few. Great place, highly recommend a visit if you're in the area.Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome with time restricted but honestly I see more pups than kids... It's kind of a mature setting.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accomodations available

The Train station building is historical and very cool. The outside deck is very nice. The barista was attentive and nice.It is extremely dark inside so not a good place for someone with bad vision problems/walking issues. The drinks purchased tasted great however they were overpriced! The directions on google mas were not sufficient in saying ( it’s in an old train station). Nothing on the outside indicated it either, so it was confusing to find.I wavered between a 3/4 because of these things.

The bartender was really nice and knowledgeable, was really reassuring trying kratom for the first time. I loved the dark, moody speak easy vibes but still enough light to read. The drinks I tried (Orange Dream and Summertime Sadness) were really good, not overly sweet. I liked I felt comfortable in the space as a single female going out on her own. Will definitely be back!

Spectacular place. Just wish they had more vegan food options and board games so we could hang out longer with our kids. Because they don’t, the kids lose patience and want to leave before we have gotten to finish our drinks and enjoy the wonderful customer service.

Downtown Kava is a hidden gem housed in an old train station, preserving a cool atmosphere frozen in time. The staff is consistently friendly and knowledgeable, creating a welcoming environment that keeps drawing me back – it's undoubtedly my favorite place to hang out.The addition of bingo and trivia nights adds a fun twist to the experience, making it more than just a place for non alcoholic drinks. They also have a food truck there most of the time. Speaking of which, the kava drinks are not only delicious but also offer a unique and enjoyable taste. I usually get their kratom elixir by itself as I don't like sweet drinks. Whether you're a regular or a first-timer, Downtown Kava is a must-visit for its ambiance, friendly staff, and delightful events. ????

Such a cute spot! Was visiting from Tampa and I so wish this was in Tampa! Plentyyyy of seating so this would be a great study spot, or place to just hang out with friends. I'm sure they have plenty of great events here. I ordered a specialty kava (the orange one) and it was very good, if not a tad expensive. Service was good and great effort was made to ensure our party was 21+, thanks for that Florida!

What an absolute gem! This is such an adorable Kava Bar, located in such a unique building! The owner, Sara, really takes pride in her bar and that really shows thought with her customer service as well as her team of kavatenders! Drinks were great, wide variety of flavors! Also the hours are awesome, they open early which is such a nice perk! Overall I would give this bar a 10/10! Great atmosphere, great drinks, great location! (OH! And there a free parking lot which is always a WIN!)

This place is so special. There really is no place like it that I can compare it to. This historic building converted to a cool hang out, both indoor and outdoor makes it stand out from every other Kava place i have been to. I just wished they had some food options as well besides muffins.
