We tried Elena's yesterday while visiting Punta Gorda. We really liked our experience. Our waitress was excellent. She was very friendly and attentive. Service was fast, almost too fast in that our meal arrived before we finished our salad and soup. The food was fresh and tasted great. Elena's Restaurant is a charming little place with great staff who know their food. The omelette was perfect, made with good oils and ingredients. Customers enjoy the chicken salad plate, especially the cole slaw and variety of veggies. The staff, including Durim and Suzy, are top-notch, providing quick and delicious food at reasonable prices. Specials like liver and onions are standout dishes, while breakfast and chef salads are also highly recommended for their generous portions. The atmosphere is friendly, and the prices are fair. Service can vary, but when the right staff is present, it makes for a wonderful experience. The building could use some upgrades, especially the bathrooms. Overall, Elena's is a rare gem in Punta Gorda that keeps customers coming back for more.
