I've traveled from the pan handle to P.R, to Mexico and everywhere in between. In my opinion theirs no better tasting food than one that tastes like grandma's cooking (in this case grandpa's sandwiches)

Small unassuming place in a strip mall where magic happens in the form of moist and delicious pork shoulder with the perfect crust.. yucca seasoned with onions and fork tender... crisp Cuban sandwich with plenty of meats. So, I am not as well versed in the nuances of Cuban cuisine, but I've had it before. I can say without a doubt, this was the best I've ever had. Slow smoked pork, the smell and authentic flavors all came together in a masterful way. We also enjoyed the coffee, which had me dancing in the car. They have the most amazing bread, not only for the sandwiches, but also for sale, along with other small goodies for purchase. Don't miss this place!

Yuca! Is unbelievable...tender, flavorful so amazing I’ve gone back for it so many times. It’s like the inions are ceviches...not sure but it’s amazing. Tried the fried pork....needs a sauce. And weirdly the Cubans meat bread cheese ratio is off! Yummy rice and beans. But try the yuca!

Being in the mood for an exotic food experience, we stopped at Cuban Taste on a whim. The restaurant itself is quite small with a few tables and booths, seating perhaps 30 - 40 people. We were greeted warmly and had the cafeteria type menu explained to us. We were each given the choice of a type of rice, a type of beans, an entree along with fried plaintains. My wife and I both chose the yellow rice with red beans. She opted for the Shredded chicken while I had the beef stew. The portions were huge and we wound up taking some of the beans and rice home. Everything was well seasoned, but not overly so. The plaintains deserve special mention, sweet and flavorful. We enjoyed our meals and look forward to our next visit.
