Just found my new pizza joint. They have pizza I haven’t tasted since I left NJ. It doesn’t matter where you are from… you have to try Deep Creek Pizza. BTW they sell slices!

Food is excellent and the prices are reasonable. Staff are pleasant and courteous. The only drawback is that there's not a lot of indoor seating. There is some outdoor seating which should be pleasant with the upcoming cooler weather

I've visited K's Family Pizzeria and Restaurant several times and so I feel well-qualified to provide a detailed review. Overall, this is a great spot with some standout dishes and a warm, friendly atmosphere.

The Eggplant Parmesan Special (entrée) is perfectly cooked and flavorful. The Lasagna is rich and satisfying, definitely a must-try. The Ravioli is delicious and well-prepared. Frank's tzatziki sauce makes the Gyro exceptional. While the Chicken Parmesan entrée is tasty, it doesn't quite reach the same level as the others.

Some dishes that need improvement include the Baked Ziti, which has a different marinara sauce than other baked dishes and doesn't quite hit the mark. The Tuna Grinder is overpowered by dill and yellow American cheese, which detracts from the overall flavor. The Meatball Grinder lacks the depth of flavor found in the baked dishes, possibly due to a different sauce. The Eggplant Grinder has similar issues as the meatball grinder. I'd order all of these again, but not my first picks.

With that said, the pizza crust is the one significant area that needs improvement. For me, it makes the pizza nearly inedible. It has a sour but flavorless taste, and the texture doesn't feel right.

Advice to owners: To ensure a better crust, consider extending the proofing time in the refrigerator to develop more complex flavors and a better texture. High-quality flour like Caputo "00" and reliable commercial yeast such as Lesaffre SAF-Instant Yeast can improve the overall flavor and texture. Ensuring the dough has the correct salt levels, typically about 2% of the flour weight, will enhance the flavor.

As far as the ambiance goes it's cozy and reminiscent of a small diner, with seating for about ten parties indoors and a few outdoor seats. There's also a counter for solo diners, adding to the casual and welcoming vibe. The daily specials are a nice touch, and the staff is always super nice and accommodating.

Overall, K's Family Pizzeria and Restaurant offers a solid dining experience with some fantastic dishes and friendly service. With a few tweaks, especially to the pizza crust, this place could easily be a five-star gem. I highly recommend trying their eggplant parmesan entrée, lasagna, ravioli, and gyro. Keep an eye on the daily specials, and enjoy the warm, welcoming atmosphere.

I ordered delivery - thank you! I've been in Florida for 2 years trying a lot of bad pizza. I am a pizza snob from Chicago. I finally found a pizza I love! I had the thin crust. The pan edge crust is reminiscent to Lou Malnati's. Thank you K's!
