Arrived early and was seated promptly. Our waitress was immediately at the table to get us started. Prompt quality service, delicious food, great presentation, and very reasonable prices. The Perfect Caper is our "go to" and the best restaurant in Punta Gorda!

We drove 45 minutes to eat at this restaurant and it was well worth it. The “ A warm goat”appetizer was one of the best things I have ever eaten. I could see myself craving that at some point down the road and driving all the way back just to have it again. Scallops with lump crab meat on top were delicious. The white staff was friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Our favorite restaurant, we each had the 6 ounce fillet French bread and I had the calamari appetizer. Food as we have experienced every time we go was excellent, cooked to our preferred temperature, great flavor and service was spot on.

The Perfect Caper was a completely satisfying experience in fine dining. Our server Ella was amazing and sweet. All courses from drinks and apps to the main and desert were way above our expectations. The duck was sublime, the scallops topped with crab was over the top. Desert was incredible (the chocolate multi-layer cake should be illegal)!. The Perfect Caper: you truly get what you pay for, a fine dining experience that was memorable.

Our go to place for that special occasion! The food was exceptional and the service was just as wonderful. Eric made us feel like we were the only people there-it is always great not to be rushed especially when out for a nice quality dinner. The manager was on top of everything-very attentive.

It was good to see some new items on the menu. The mac and cheese I question if it was real lobster, but it was served piping hot the pork belly tacos always a hit and delicous! The chopped salad could have been more creative rather than just iceberg lettuce and a few crumbles of bleau cheese and bacon. The service OUTSTANDING all in all the caper never disappoints and we will be back!

First visit. Drove up from Fort Myers, to meet friends. Being a 45 year restaurant veteran I was happy to see all the boxes checked. The drinks and food were top notch, but I expected that and was not disappointed. The small things are what separate the truly good from the expected. The greeting from the host, the table accommodation, the specials explained completely including the price. Water refills, silverware changed, deserts offered not pushed. Check presented without being rushed. Those are the small things that make a true dining experience worth the drive! We will make the trip again.

Another wonderful dinner at the perfect caper. The calamari appetizer was tender and crispy on the edges. We had never had “hen of the woods“ mushrooms before and that special appetizer was amazing. My favorite dish is the crabby scallops with coconut forbidden black rice. I love that you can order it with 2, 3 or 4 scallops. This gives us the freedom to try out more appetizers. My friend was able to order one single scallop on the side so she got to try my favorite dish as well. This was our friends' first time here and we were so happy that they loved it as much as we did. Our fabulous waitress, Tamara, seemed to know everything about every ingredient and was so helpful with all the dishes. She made this a perfect evening.

We were a group of 6 people celebrating a birthday. The staff were all perfect! There was a personalized birthday card on the table. The food is delicious. We had the crabby scallops, the pig and fig, tempura shrimp, lamb chops, and steaks. Everyone loved it. Dessert did not disappoint either. I highly recommend this place!!!

I had scallops and the cream brûlée. Amazing . Nice flavor to the scallops , food served at perfect temperature. Loved the brûlée. It's my favorite dessert. Service was super. She timed everything so well and gave great suggestions.
Always a pleasure to have dinner at Perfect Caper! Great dinner with our friends! I had the veal chop special and it was delicious and cooked perfectly. Also, we had the filet mignon with lobster mac and cheese! So good too! We also have their special desserts and cappuccino!

Excellent experience...food and services were outstanding. A special place for a special occasion. Only one comment, they charged extra for small pieces of bread for the liver pate. Just saying!
The salads were good. The Scallops with black rice and bok choy were amazing! The Pig and Fig dish was delish! The Lamb was very good but I would have preferred a change up from the fingerlings and green beens to something more interesting to go with the Morracan Spices. The Chocolate Cake dessert is over the top fabulous. The Carrot cake was the best ever. Knowing we were celebrating a special # birthday and Anniversary, I was surprised there was no extra acknowledgement. A simple suggestion would be writing a decorative good wish on the dessert plate. Golden touches like that, at no cost to the restaurant, go a long way!
