The only redeeming thing about this "resort" is the staff. The front office lady was exceptionally nice.

The rest of the hotel has survived one too many hurricanes. The rooms are clean but VERY WELL WORN.

One of the two window units was very obviously dead as it sounded like you were blending ice to make a daiquiri. The remaining unit couldn't get the room below 75ish.

There were black his in the shower that didn't belong to us. The towel rack and everything in the bathroom to include the light fixture was RUSTY.

I'd skip this one and pay a little more somewhere else.

This is a good place to stay, nothing fancy but what you need. The Tiki Bar is a great place with bands and a food truck. A bus ride to Key West, and a-lot of places around the area. Fun times 😁

This is a cute little hotel. It was in a great location for us. We were driving through the Keys to Key West. The staff were very friendly and accomodating, as we arrived after hours and they left a key in a lock box for us. The room was spacious and clean. We did not stay long enough to enjoy the pool or other amenities.

We anchored in Newfound Harbor and dinghy’d in to Looe Key Tiki. Met Glenn (owner/bartender) who was great! Provided us local knowledge of fishing/lobstering areas and other colorful tidbits about the area. Great stop, great drinks, great service!! Will definitely be back.

I had been going to the Sunset Tiki Bar for many years until it went downhill within the last year or two. I was pleasantly surprised the last two times I've gone, and had great service and many people were returning. The music was phenomenal.

Food & drinks: It was similar to what it was like a couple of years ago.

A friendly staff and affordable fare make the tiki bar at the Looe Key resort not only competitive establishment but also a destination for locals and tourists alike. Their pizza and shrimp are hard to beat. Buckets of beer make for a great leisure time and relaxation. The entertainment is great on weekends as well as during local musicians' jam sessions...

Food & drinks: The tiki bar offers a great pizza in addition to the BBQ truck adjacent to the bar. Drinks are top notch with friendly and efficient staff who treat you like a local.

My family, and my dollars will support this place until one of us quits.

Nearby activities: The reef calls to you.

Safety: Left many a valuable out on a table, only to find it undisturbed in the morning.

Walkability: Plenty of sidewalk, convenient store 100 yards away, food and drinks at multiple locations within walking distance.

Stopped by for some drinks and they were delicious. Had some rum runners and Bahama Mamas. There is a food trailer for snacks but we skipped that for fish dinner later. It looked good though.

Where do I even begin, my first time staying here and I couldn’t have been more pleased. Pam at the front desk is an absolute saint and allowed us to check in 2 hours early! Secondly the bar is a great vibe with good music. The BBQ food truck that is on site has some of the best brisket I’ve had in south Florida. Highly recommend the stay, til next time!

Convenient location and clean and comfortable enough for me. Very basic but I loved the shower. However, I can’t recommend this place. We were in a room near the tiki bar and the live music Friday night went late in the evening and was extremely loud and obnoxious with more music following the live music. The other annoyance is that bar goers took all the hotel parking so despite the fact that we paid over $200/ night for a room worth no more than $80 in any other location which supposedly includes parking—we were neither able to park nor sleep. You can be a hotel or a nightclub but the two don’t mix at all. The two really need more separation. We didn’t get pillowcase or soap for some reason either which seem essential. There’s not a proper lock on the door which I didn’t like and glad I was staying with my male partner. Other than all that it was a convenient location for what we wanted to do in the keys. They are raking in money with minimal effort as far as I can tell.
