Stopped to have dinner and listen to the band. There is a large area with tables and saw only two wait persons. Service was slow, food was not the best and cold at that. No a place I would recommend unless they get more help.

Even though understaffed on an NFL playoff night, the staff was still amazing. Food is gross! Stale chips with my queso and their version of chilli on a hot dog is to douse the top of it with a lot of chilli powder (very overwhelming). Reminded me of why I never go to eat there; this time was only to allow a visiting friend to watch a football game. I will only go for drinks if meeting friends there from now on.

Stopped by for a quick lunch/ appetizer s while out looking at properties ( we actually live nearby). Waited over an hour for the nachos and chicken wings/ supposed to be the teriyaki wasabi but was actually just a sickly sweet teriyaki sauce . It was not busy as far as diners ( the bar was busy) A couple came in 30 after us and received their order quickly. More than likely our order was forgotten. Once it arrived it was only mediocre.Many apologies by the wait staff and assured us that they would speak to the manager to make it “right”. Full price tab was presented to us when we asked for the check. Would not recommend to anyone who and will not be back.

Great place for good entertainment or to watch a game!!! Drinks are cheap with heavy pours!!! Food is typical bar food. If the food was a little better it would be a 5. It is truly a "dive" bar, since Looe Key dive shop and Inn are all part of the experience.

Out of everyone in my party, I was carded. I am 42. I understand this man was doing his job (unfairly), but he didn’t have to be mean. I have lived in the keys many years. Never have been treated like this. I will never go back and I hope you don’t subject yourself to such obtuse, plebeian behavior.

The food was very good, Trivia Night with the excellent Erika was lots of fun! BUT the server was terrible! All 6 at our table were so annoyed with her. Did not get her name but she was wearing striped pants. Was not a young inexperienced girl. She was old enough to know better how to treat people. She have us menus then stood there and about 5 minutes said " So you want something to drink?" Once our drinks were delivered she did not return for at least 15 minutes until 2 men at our table waved her over. Her excuse was it was so busy..people keep coming in. it was busy but there was another server. She got my order wrong and argued with me! What really riled us was that when my daughter paid and gave her a 20% tip, which she did not deserve even 15%, this woman said " you should have given me 25%! I would have given her $0 for that remark. Retraining needed!! But the place for food- good. Erika hosting Trivia Night- awesome.
Service was terrible. I ordered a drink that was on the menu she the waitress rolled her eyes and laughed at me, asking why I thought I was in the Virgin Islands and they don't make what I requested. We had one drink and went somewhere else. It was dirty and not a friendly environment.

If you go for the food you're going for the wrong reason. The food isn't bad--the menu is pub grub--and it works. Good bar, terrific service, and excellent entertainment. (The dogs are a plus.)

Stayed at the reef resort and this place made our stay even better. There was a karaoke in full swing The beer was cold The cocktails were deadly The food was awesome The lady waitress / server was so friendly There was a cute dog to pet We will be back as soon as we can!!

Used to love coming here for the local Keys vibe, tasty bar food, good service and fun music. The last three visits have been awful. People starting fights at the bar, rude bartenders ignoring you, bikers not letting you use the restroom (seriously, a guy stood in front of the men's room and said, "You're not going in") Last time there was a drunk woman in the parking lot screaming at people as they parked. These were not late night encounters, either. Such a shame.
