I had the French onion soup for an appetizer and the shrooms & swiss burger (substituted it with a veggie burger). It was realllyyyyy good! “We came on a late Sunday afternoon. We had just left the WingHouse on Ulmerton without eating (see review). Intent on not letting that ruin our afternoon we decided on Quaker Steak & Lube. It is the opposite direction to our house from WH and twice as far, but we'd been one other time and had a good experience. Upon arriving we found a bike show had just ended. The patio was packed but we still got a table. There were so many rad bikes and awesome vendors, and a really good live band on a huge stage. Our server Kacie was a rock star. Cool, friendly, professional, and on top of it. She ran that entire patio and never missed a beat. Kept our drinks and bellies full. We tell our kids all the time we can buy all the food we get at restaurants at the grocery store and make it ourselves. We go out for atmosphere and service. Having good food you don't have to make yourself is a luxury. One I'm willing to pay for when the service is there. Without good service there's no point to the restaurant industry. Unfortunately for us all that is being lost and forgotten more and more by those in the industry now. It's a shame and a detriment to business owners, the industry, and our society as a whole. Kacie hasn't forgot that and is actually the embodiment of the exact opposite. “Andrew B. is an amazing bartender! Not only does he perform his job at the highest level, but he goes above and beyond to make every guest feel special. While sitting at the bar, I listened to several people just randomly talk about how he was their favorite bartender! I think that speaks VOLUMES! I wasn't expecting much for $2, a place that has $2 burgers on Tuesdays or a small bar in a small strip plaza. Don't judge a book... The burgers were fantastic. The sweet potato tots were freaking delicious. Service was great. Have gone back a few times already and it's been just as good. It was even good when they had just opened the doors & there wasn't a soul in there but the owner. Definitely worth checking out. “Im a frequent visitor of the "left coast" beaches. This trip brought me to Clearwater for an afternoon Phils game at BayCare Ball Park....Stopped in Philly Joes before the game. Had a great initial feeling when we walked in when some local firefighters were enjoying their lunch. Always a good sign...Split a cheese steak fried onions and order Fries with the wifey. Had the steak with Joes homemade velvety smooth cheese sauce which was delicious. Also was provided with couple side cups filled with the cheese sauce to dip our fries. Steak was delicious and roll was OK. I'm spoiled living here in the Philly area as far as rolls go. Food was prepared and served by Joe himself who was behind the line. Place was incredibly clean which Joe took an incredible amount of pride in when we spoke to him for a few mins on our way out. Joe is a true NE Philly guy that's putting out a great product in the Clearwater area.“

I ordered the pretzel bites They were crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside and the cheese sauce was amazing nothing tasted microwaved or reheated.“

“We are on vacation at St. Pete's Beach and had breakfast at iHop today. We travel with our 7-year old who is autistic and I am always worried about wait times as she struggles in some situations. What was so lovely about this iHop location is that several employees greeted us when we walked in and, despite being busy, said "We'll be right with you." What a relief to know we had been seen and would be seated soon. Jennifer was our server and she was kind, professional, and efficient. We were quickly given beverages and our order was taken. The food came quickly and we were able to get out in a timely fashion.We have only eaten out as a family a handful of times. Jennifer couldn't have known that by looking at us, but I hope she sees this and knows how much it meant to us today. Her professionalism and attentiveness made it possible for us to enjoy a meal out together. I will be forever grateful.“

“We regularly got the meal plan for months. Most of the food was pretty good. it does save time. I don't recommend because they do not provide good macros for the meal plan. I needed to be able to calculate weight watchers points, the owner told me that they would provide me with the macros I needed, the employee who was supposed to get them for me did not because it was too "time intensive". If this is to be part of a health plan, shouldn't I be able to know what I am eating?“

It's always clean and everyone is always friendly. The reason I gave it only 4 stars is that a few times the hot dogs weren't hot, temperature wise.
