Seabreeze Island Grill

This restaurant is been closed since last year and it has been posted here.

So we pulled in here to go and try and look at the restaurant and see their prices in full menu. However, whenever we stopped in the restaurant looks closed down and maybe under renovations or completely gone out of business. Yet as of 7:42 pm September 1st 2025 the place looks closed down.

The atmosphere here was nice in theory, but we kept getting attacked by this extremely persistent and annoying seagull. Admittedly, it did provide us with some free entertainment lol, but still. As far as the food goes, there was a LOT of pineapple infused throughout the menu, which I'm not a huge fan of. We got the chips and salsa to start with(which had pineapple chunks in it that I had to remove). They give you free bread, which had baked in coconut, and the butter that came with it had pineapple in it. I was only able to eat a few bites of that. For the main course, I had the crab cake with cilantro rice and black beans, which was definitely the highlight of the evening for me. It wasn't too bad, but I wouldn't go back. I like trying new things though, so I'm still glad we went.

It’s closed. No furniture outside, sign on the main door says “keep out”. Website says there are specials today??

Someone updated to show the location is temporarily closed now; hopefully it saves others the frustration of visiting a closed restaurant. They mentioned it’s been closed since the hurricanes last year about 20 minutes after I posted.
I took a closer look at the reviews and some do mention it’s closed, but with 5 star reviews. What was the last “local guide” who posted 5 days ago with 5 star rating thinking??

It's out of business

Seabreeze Island Grill appears to be permanently closed. When I arrived, it was in disrepair and apparently abandoned.

Just wonderful all around!! Never have been huge on seafood and I can't deny, this place may have changed my mind!!!

The wait was long, and the food was just okay. Skip the grouper it’s mostly breading and doesn’t taste or look like the real deal.
