I was looking at a place in Maps n noticed there was a place called Arepas Donde Flor, I looked it up online since I had never seen it before that n it caught my attention that they sale chicken n beef n nothing w pork. Since I don’t eat pork or anything mixed w it I don’t like to order from places specially food trucks where I know my food has been fried w the same oil or cooked in the same pan where pork has been made before, so I went ahead n called this place to confirm they’re still at the same location n placed an order at the same time, just tequeños n cheese cachapas, something simple but I would say it was really tasty. I liked the flavor of the green garlic sauce they give u w the food n the cachapa had a lot, like A LOT of cheese. I noticed some negative reviews about this place which r all of them related to their food not being ready on time n then made in a rush but looks like that happens when u order from one of those apps like DoorDash, Square whatever n whatever other app they’re on, so maybe looking at these apps more often to be on top of every order that’s placed is something that needs to be improved in their end, but since I called directly to their phone number n talked to the lady to tell her my order n that I was going to pick it up, when I got to the place the food was ready, hot n fresh, had a good presentation n had 0 complaints about it, I’m taking about 15 mins maybe from the moment I called to the moment I got there since I live nearby. So I guess, whenever I’m craving this specific type of cuisine I have place to go back to now 😊

OMG this is some of the most delicious food I have had in Ruskin. Ordered empanadas and pastelitos in 4 different flavors. I could not stop talking about how good this food was the entire time I was eating! Will be bringing more family members by to try asap
This place is delicious! I got “The hairy one” arepa, and a ground beef empanada, both things were so dang good and LARGE, I couldn’t finish it, but I’m already planning when I’m going to go back and try the rest of the menu. I’m glad we tried it out!

Finally ran by for lunch today--this has been on my list forever. Arepas Donde Flor is an old-school food truck conveniently located behind Napa Auto Parts off of College Blvd. not much to look at, but I still had hope.I ordered the Capira, an arepa loaded with chicken and cheese. The ten minute wait was a good sign that I'd homemade. The arepa was good, definitely full of chicken and the cheeses were melted into the package. Overall, Arepas Donde Flor is with a stop-good food, good service at a decent price.
