The customer service or lack there of could use some work. All my food was cold half of my order was incomplete. I spoke to careless manager do better. The manager advised the cini minis that I ordered were cooked at 8 AM and they don’t make a second batch so whatever they were served to me as is how they are. She also let me know each sandwich is made to order which I ordered the sausage, egg and cheese croissant which the sausage was burnt to a crisp

Goodness, can you hire more people? It took forever to get my food, the line was ridiculous. Do you guys even have someone managing the flow?, McDonald’s is just 2 minutes away, and people won’t always wait—they’ll go there instead!
I came on here to see the reviews and then read the one about the mistreatment by a manager, and I HAD to write a review as well. Now that I’ve read the bad reviews for this location, it makes sense why the survey results are so poor—how do you expect bad leadership to successfully lead a team?
On 8/01/2025 around 1:00 PM, I stopped at this Burger King Big Bend location for lunch since it’s within walking distance from my job. While waiting in line, I heard loud yelling coming from a manager, who I believe is named Mirella. I’ve been visiting this location for years, and she’s worked here for as long as I can remember—that’s how I know her name.
She was shouting at a young female employee—clearly a teenager. I emphasize that because managers have a responsibility to handle minors with care and professionalism. For many, this may be their first job, and an experience like this can be deeply discouraging and even traumatic. Our kids/young adults are the future, and as a manager, it’s important to set the tone, model respect, and mentor employees. It’s clear Mirella lacks those qualities.
It was upsetting to witness an adult in a position of authority speaking to a young employee in such a disrespectful way. This behavior sets a poor example, reflects badly on management, and raises concerns about the work environment Burger King is allowing. If this is how employees—especially minors—are treated, it’s no wonder turnover is high, and it may even open the door for legal issues. To the young lady that was embarrassed in this way, I suggest seeking legal advice—you may have a case.
I strongly urge Burger King’s HR and corporate leadership to look into this incident and ensure managers are trained to treat all employees with respect, regardless of age or experience. No employee should feel afraid or humiliated at work.
Do better, Burger King. Just because a person has been working there for a long time does not qualify them to be a manager. Leadership training is essential—and based on what I saw, the problem may be with Burger King itself. Your managers clearly aren’t being trained properly..
I’m deeply sorry to the young lady, I felt so bad for you and I regret not standing up for you. I plan to call corporate and share what I experienced.
I placed an order at the Burger King located at 10395 Big Bend Road, Riverview, FL on August 8, 2025 at 11:16 PM through the drive-thru. Your store’s posted closing time is 12:00 AM, but when I arrived at 11:40 PM, I was told by an employee that the store was closed and that they had already turned off the grill and fryers.
This meant my order could not be fulfilled despite being placed well before closing. This was very inconvenient and frustrating, especially since I arrived in plenty of time before the official closing hour.

I recently visited Burger King and was disturbed by the behavior of one of the managers. I witnessed this manager loudly yelling at and publicly embarrassing one of the young ladies working there. The place was pretty full of customers and we all just looked at each other, one customer was so appalled that he walked out!. I am not sure what led to the situation, but there was absolutely no need for a manager to behave in such a disrespectful and unprofessional way.
The young employee looked visibly upset and humiliated. No staff member should be treated in that manner, especially in front of customers.
To the CEO and HR of Burger King — please take more care in selecting and training your managers. What I witnessed felt like workplace abuse, and it left a very negative impression of your company. Employees deserve to be treated with respect and dignity at all times.
This manager has blonde hair, she’s short and on the heavy side.

I’m very disappointed with the management at this Burger King location. The way the managers treat their employees is completely unacceptable. They speak to staff in any tone they please, with no regard for respect or professionalism. Even employees with excellent attendance are treated poorly and retaliated against if they have to call out for any reason, yes I’ve seen them do this in the past and they continue to; the management seems very vindictive and petty.
It’s obvious that the managers here have not received proper training, especially in handling HR and employee relations matters. Their behavior creates a toxic and hostile work environment, and it shows — the employees at this location always seem unhappy and stressed, and now I understand why.
I hope corporate takes notice and addresses these serious issues because the lack of professionalism from management is unacceptable for any workplace.
To BK staff: I suggest you all use hidden recorders and expose these managers on social media. People need to see how unprofessional and abusive they really are.
