Awesome crispy wontons that we got on the house at lunch! The fried banana was also very good. My grandmother's first time trying Thai and she especially loved the Pad

The food is so good and the owners are super nice. Don't sleep on this one.Vegetarian options: Good veggie options and if you order the lunch special, they will make you vegetarian soup if you tell them you are a vegetarian.

We got take out last night for the first time from Chai Yo Thai. It was the best Pad Thai I’ve ever had. They threw in a free appetizer since the order was over $50 and it was a wonton dish that was also amazing. The sauce was awesome. The staff was very friendly during the pick up too. Can’t wait to try more from the menu!

Not what I expected after reading the other reviews. My pad Thai was soupy too much sauce. The container it was put in almost melted from the heat. Will not try this place again.

Chai Yo Thai is a very small yet amazing restaurant. From the moment you walk in, you feel like you just got invited into someone's home for some authentic cooking. The feel of the restaurant is cozy and welcoming. We were greeted with a huge smile and slight bow by this lovely lady who just made us feel so welcomed. Before even starting, let me say the service we got here was nothing less than amazing. Service is something most restaurants lack these days. The food isn't always the reason customers return to restaurants. With that being said, let's talk about the food. The food here is wonderful, delicious, authentic Thai food. It took a little time, but that is exactly what I expected because I knew this food was going to be fresh and delicious. For appetizers, we selected dumplings and fried bananas to start. Let me say that the fried bananas are out of this world delicious. I made those fried bananas disappear in a quick minute. They didn't have a chance after I had my first bite of them. For our main dishes, my girlfriend ordered a Green Curry dish, and i ordered their drunken noodle dish. Both dishes were well prepared, fresh and delicious. I will say after having a taste of my girlfriends Green Curry, I can see that becoming one of my go-to dishes when eating there. If you like authentic food in a very comfy, cozy, laid-back restaurant, this is it!!! Small little place with a bunch of goodness to offer. Will definitely be eating here more regularly.

Asian family business serving excellent Thai food in a casual, family friendly atmosphere. Owners run the business with their boy sitting in a back booth quietly playing games. Extremely friendly & gracious. My nephew & family eat here oftenParking: Large strip mall parking lotKid-friendliness: Owner's little boy sits in a back booth quietly playing games. Honest review here. Place is adequate and the food was alright but not 4.6+ rating. I would say that this is a decent place where you can get a meal and it’s affordable but I’ve eaten at a lot of places and the food quality was lacking. Very nice owners running the place and we did enjoy how quiet it was though and enjoyed the company

Service is quick, very polite, & anxious to please. First time dining in, as usually get take out, but my experience here has definitely made me want to return more often!Food was delicious & plentiful. Chicken Satay was tender, large slices/slabs of perfectly seasoned chicken breast. Only negative is here Satay is served with sweet chili sauce & not the usual peanut sauce. Although the sauce was tasty, would have preferred peanut sauce. For entree I had beef pad Thai, which had plentiful rice noodles, fried egg, vegetables, and beef (but beef was tough so I'll be sticking to my usual chicken from now on). Menu has many choices & nearly everything offers a choice of protein or vegetarian. They do have a Vegetarian section of menu as well. Mussaman Curry was delicious, even better the next day! (I usually dump remaining rice into container with the Mussaman in it; the rice absorbs all the liquid overnight next day is flavorful rice with chicken, potatoes, peanuts, etc)Vegetarian options: Nearly everything on their menu offers a choice of protein--including tofu &/or vegetables. There is also a Vegetarian section of the menu.Parking: Always plenty of parking in this shopping plaza. Never had a problem finding parking here.

When I lived in the Tampa/Brandon area I found this gem of a place. I moved years ago but every time I visit this is a must stop. I always get the pad Thai shrimp. I ordered it a few days ago and it was the best I’ve ever had. I’ve tried many Thai places throughout the DMV area and nothing compares to this place. The good is always so fresh and to me is reasonably priced!
