I dined at The Crazy Cafe in Tampa 3 times in one month and it was always a pleasant experience. The ambiance is low-key and eclectic, which adds a cool, mellow twist to the dining atmosphere. If you seek a local place to unwind in a peaceful environment after work, this place has it in spades.
The sushi menu offered a good variety of rolls and sashimi options. Always fresh and flavorful. I am particularly in love with their fresh ginger dressing— which they happily sold me a pint upon leaving. Thank you! However, I found that their drink options were a bit under par when it came to alcohol.
The service was perfect. No delays, no over-lording, Our server was nice and attentive and even helped me choose my meal options.
Overall, The Crazy Cafe has a lot of potential but there are areas for improvement. This is a great place to keep on your regular go-to list.
