Such an amazing place, the whole restaurant is very clean ( even restrooms ) and everyone is very humble and respectful. The food did not disappoint it was very great amazing taste, for someone who has never had Jamaican cuisine before i would definitely recommend it. May God bless this establishment 👏🏽🤍

The food is consistently good, but i didnt rate it 5 stars because they stopped selling oxtail. That's so disappointing, but plenty of goodness on the menu to choose from.

I went to Flavaz Jamaican Grille on US-301 in Riverview, Florida. First-time customer. Let me be clear, I recently came back from a six-day all-inclusive stay in Ocho Rios, Jamaica. I had real, authentic food every day, so I know the difference.
Flavaz is the real deal. I ordered the jerk chicken, dark meat, with brown rice and peas, and cabbage. I'm on a clean eating routine, so I split the meal into a few portions, but the flavor had me feeling like I was back in Ocho Rios with a Red Stripe Sorrel in hand.
The only thing Flavaz is missing is a covered 200 square foot patio porch where I could sit back and relax, that would have completed the Jamaican experience.
Check out Flavaz Jamaican Grille. This Jamaican spot is the spot.

One of the best blood clot fried fish with pickling that I’ve had for the year. Ask somebody.

I used to LOVE this place. Seems like they got rid of all the good staff and replaced them with a bunch of uninterested teenagers. If you want the stereotypical rude Jamaican restaurant experience then you’ll love it! The soup is never ready on time on Saturdays and the phone etiquette is more than lacking. I’ve wasted the past 3 Saturdays trying to wait for soul that’s never ready and now they don’t even have the phone line up and running, I’m guessing to avoid telling people the soup isn’t ready.

This is a hidden gem. I have been looking all over Tampa for a decent Jamaican Beef Patty and Jamaican food, and I finally found the place. If you are looking for authentic Jamaican food, THIS IS THE PLACE!

My daughter and I had a lovely meal here. We ordered the curry chicken with rice and peas. Everything was delicious and full of flavor. The bread pudding was also really good, we both enjoyed it! The staff was very friendly and made us feel welcome. We’ll definitely be back!
Had a great experience! The food was delicious fresh, flavorful, and well prepared. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, which made the whole visit even better. Definitely recommend and will be coming back!
They changed their hours but the food is still delicious. Weekends are long waits so I suggest getting the lunch special😋

Very mean and rude lady working th3 front counter. I know it's a ig joke that the front counter lady is suppose to have a attitude but this isn't social media or funny. Just being mean to be mean. And the food was bland.

Best in town! We drive from the other side of town when we have the time just to come here for the food. The jerk chicken and brown stew is the best I’ve had.
