I've had the breakfast buffet to go SEVERAL times in the past few months. I have my collection of to-go containers to prove it. 😊 The food is always hot, tasty, and filling. This morning I grabbed cheese grits, scrambled eggs, link sausage and home fries. 😋 I also picked up the bread pudding. Delicious!! No pics, because I'm always ready to eat when I get home with the food. Fred's Market is definitely worth a visit if you're looking for comfort food.

We used to go to this Fred's . It's been awhile. My wife and I are retired and on a fixed income. We know their food is good and we wanted breakfast. We arrived at approx 10:30 am. Was told that we had 15 min to get our food or get charged $4.00 more each. And we did not want to pile up our table with food and we didn't want to pay $8.00 extra, and there is no discounts for seniors..... So we ate nothing and got up and left. I can't see spending $40:00 to eat there So Fred's made ZERO $$$$$ from us.

This location, highway 301 Riverview has made improvements to the food at the buffet. We had 6 adults and were seated in a timely manner at 6pm for dinner with 4 adults present, two were stuck in traffic driving from Bradenton Florida. They arrived 15 minutes later. Our server was friendly and attentive. I would return here for future visits. *Depending on the time of day might affect the ability to accommodate large groups. You might call ahead if going at peak hours. There are booths, and tables for seating. Noise level for 6pm was loud but, it's peak hours for dinner. Again, depends on what time you visit may affect your noise, seating experience. The prices have risen but, it's been a while that we have visited here. So, I will say it's reasonable priced. Overall, a nice place.

We had dinner there tonight and the food was empty and items were not being refilled. The server was terrible we had to ask for napkins and lemon for our tea several times a plates were not cleared. Very disappointed as we dine here regularly.
The chicken and fish lacked flavor/seasoning. My salad and roll were the best things on my plate. Some of the food on the buffet looked like it had been sitting for hours and needed to be changed out.

I've enjoyed buffet there at Fred's and I love the selection. The salmon is especially delicious 😋 My granddaughter has been able to try a variety of different comfort foods too.
