After breakfast with granddaughters, paid, and left, as girls were a little restless. I inadvertently left my copy of receipt on table and left with the restaurant's copy. The waitress ran out and asked for the correct copy which I have no problem with. But she also accused me of taking both receipts as well as the pen. I corrected her.. I do not use others' pens! I always have my own! I think an apology was in order but I never received one. Customer service reminders are a must.
