Italian Kitchen Grill and Cafe

Called to ask what the wait time was and the response I got was “for what”… then we came into the restaurant, no one said hello, no one smiled and just pointed to a tiny table that for two (we are a family of four) and we asked is there any other options for seating and the response was “‘no”. So, we left. Super unwelcoming staff here. Disappointing.

This is on of my favorite spots in Riverview. The food is always good. They have increased prices, but that is normal now. The food is still good.

The food was awful, the servers had attitudes, and there is no atmosphere. I did not finish my food and I had to sip on a tea when I got home. They are all impersonators, from the cook that glares from behind the counter to the servers who don't know the first thing about serving, and they argued with me over what the menu said! FAKE Italian Kitchen.

Let me start by saying, OMG. I've passed this place many times so my wife and I decided to give it a shot. So thankful we did. Not only is the food absolutely delicious but very reasonable. It is now our go to place for authentic Italian food. I highly recommend it to anyone reading this review. You will not be sorry.

We just happened to go here and we didn’t have reservations. It was early evening and they made a table available. Loved the atmosphere and the owner sounded like a true Italian. A little hard for us to find with gps but it worked out. Bread and food was wonderful!

Best lasagna I’ve ever had in any Tampa restaurant! 10 plus plus plus! It’s so hard to get that dish right and I was so shocked how perfect they got it! I can’t stop thinking about it. I’m a true foodie. I’ll be back asap to get it again! OUT OF THIS WORLD!!

I've come here for dinner and lunch many times. Dinner is usually busier. Service is professional and to the point. After eating here, your mouth will water just thinking about it. Try the appetizers. Our favorites are the mussels and calamari.
