Got there at noon and they were sold out of a few things so if you want something specific get there early when they open - we wanted to try a few things so that wasn’t a big deal for us, we’ll go back next time to try those things. we got brisket, pulled pork, sausage, okra, mac and cheese, cabbage, and shrimp - the shrimp were my favorite. Everything came out steaming hot, seasoned, and juicy. The staff were super nice, and the location on the water makes for a great lunch. Very affordable too we only spent about $50 for all of that meat and a pound of shrimp and sides.

Kind of a weird situation. There's a redneck bar with ashtrays and next to it is a shack that sells BBQ.

Got the combo. Ribs were ok. The 1/4 chicken was just slices of chicken with some spices on it. Not what I thought I was ordering. The brisket was dry.

The fries were nothing special and the Mac and cheese was more spice than cheese. The texas toast was OK at best.

They don't have drinks, you have to order those at the bar. Didn't want to sit inside the bar due to the smell but we were attacked by flies outside.

There was hardly anyone therr during lunchtime which should have been a big red flag.

Apparently the previous owners sold the place a year or so ago. Its now called Smoke on the River so I guess a lot of the good reviews are from the previous place.

If your looking for a chilled laid back spot to eat and have a few drinks, this is a nice spot. The lady that took our order was incredibly nice, patient, and friendly. The food was amazing and delivered quickly. The bang bang shrimp was so good, the grouper sandwich was really yummy especially with thier jalapeño ranch dressing, the fries when ordered crispy came out perfectly seasoned and fried perfectly. The dry rubbed chicken wings with hot sauce and jalapeño ranch sauce ( mixed )was phenomenal and thier cabbage was seasoned and cooked just right. Place has a nice water view and people are friendly...great overall experience. By the way, the review was NOT a joke.🤣

This place is amazing. Along the river do relaxing. Food is wonderful especially the brisket. Definitely would recommend this place.

Rude server. owner told us leave because we had a service dog. Said he didn't care if we brought a lawyer. Fine, I won't be giving you my money.

I stop by for the first time last night. I was going for the fish sandwich but when I got there they sold me on the bbq brisket sandwich! It was very favorable and juicy! They gave enough that ate the other half today and it was still tender and juicy! I will definitely be back to try more.

I called for a pick up order and I’m upset I didn’t stay to dine in. The location is right along the water, and the prices are outstanding!! The food was a hit with my entire family. Along with a homemade feel and super fresh ingredients.

After one visit, These guys have 100% found a new local and loyal customer in myself.

Can’t wait to go back this weekend!
