The pork ribs were cold, I mean refrigerated cold. The corn fritters were a ball of dough and had 2 kernels of corn in each. The baked beans smelled old and tasted worse. I would never recommend this restaurant!!

The food was incredible - worth the wait. The staff is super nice and the mac n cheese was amazing. We had the brisket and the pulled pork and fought for who could have the last bites.

Cute, quaint spot on the river. The drive up was encouraging. Lots of people, music and drinks at the bar just before the adorably placed restaurant. The food was mediocre at best. We ordered a brisket platter which included a piece of garlic bread, 2 thick slices of brisket and I ordered an additional side of Mac n cheese. The garlic bread was extremely salty (almost gritty), the portion size of the brisket (pork roast) was good but it was COLD, and FLAVORLESS. The Mac was just prepared so it was runny but did have flavor. All in all I was completely disappointed by this experience and will not be returning. Great idea, great location, poorly executed.

A great local place to eat. Right on the river. Coming from out of town we were looking for a local place with great food. Not our usual crowd but so glad we went the food was amazing and the young girl who made it took the time to come and talk to us and share a little more about her town. The personal touch was an added bonus.

Been coming here awhile and today we had a roach in our food. Brought it to the owners attention and he didn’t care at all. Told me if I didn’t like it I could leave. Asked for refund and he refused even though the roach was presented to him in my food. Would not recommend unless you like eating roaches and horrible ownership. Stay away!

We have been there before and the food was really good. Went there tonight and the brisket I got was so tough I could not eat it and it was so fatty, it was cut up in blocks. The Mac and cheese was room temperature as if it was sitting there all day, it was just a clump. The chicken tenders were fresh and they were the best thing. Everything else was below standards, I am disappointed and dissatisfied and will probably never eat there again.

This place is a cute little walkup to the window spot on the water. There was only one person working (that I could see) when I arrived 2 hours before closing but I ordered ahead and had no wait. The ribs and brisket were tender, well seasoned and had a nice smoky flavor. The greens were pretty good with a slightly tart vinegary bite. None of my family members were fans of the Mac and cheese but the baked beans were pretty good- they were VERY sweet but still a good pairing with the tart greens, smoky meat and Texas toast. Overall I was grateful to find a nice meal within 10 minutes from my house that was well-portioned and not overpriced.

The ribs and pulled pork was good. Pestle duck was begging for food and chased off only to come back. Outside dining on the river front is a local favorite!Parking: Barbecue is next to a shed bar where you buy the drinks.

Lovely location on the water plenty of sceneries. Food is outstanding, the service is adequate. There is outdoor seating and indoor seating as well. Parking is tight here. Great comfort and the ambience is good. There is live music entertainment. It is very beautiful spot and well worth a look!
