Mellow Mushroom - Riverview

I love this place. I am glad that we have one in Riverview now. Food is amazing, drinks are 🔥 and not too expensive . (Check out the bartender, Trev)

Took my babies to eat here after school, and it was terrible, service took forever I ended up having to order my husbands food online, my daughters pizza was incorrect after waiting a while she didn’t even want it anymore. My son’s burger came out after my husband’s to go order which was ready about 30 min after ours. Wings were freezer burnt tasting! Even the drinks tasted weird like the hoses on tap were dirty or something very distinctive taste. We ended up still paying a pretty penny for what we did eat and it was definitely not worth it. I’d rather eat little Cesar’s pizza.

I’m hoping this place is still working out the kinks because I love Mellow Mushroom. I was a little disappointed in our takeout because the crust made up more of the pizza than the ingredients. Now I’m a crust type of girl, but this was even too much for me. Giving it four stars until we can go in like we have at the Brandon location

Went to mellow mushroom for the first time. Everything was good but my kids mac and cheese was ice cold and my appetizer was forgotten. It wasn't busy at all they just forgot an app and didnt cook the Mac and cheese. Disappointed

This wasn't bad but it ain't good. The flavor was almost non existent. The crust was as flavorless as could be. It was super dry. The cheese was good when I could taste it over the sauce. It's not that the sauce was bad but it was way too powerful for the cheese. There was absolutely no balance with this either. This pizza is not for this guy. On to the next!

I was really disappointed. I know it’s new and I hope they work out their kinks, but it’s definitely not like the other MMs I’ve been too. I got thin crust that was soggy. I paid $15 a glass for Kim Crawford Sauvignon blanc wine when a bottle is $11 at total wine. Waiter super sweet and cute atmosphere. Pizza very disappointing.

Ordered a medium size pizza. The edging around Tte pizza was to thick and the crust containing the chicken, etc was too thin. Actually there was more edging than the base used to contain the items we wanted. Will use the Brandon one until things run a little more smoothly as l know it will get better.

This was my first time dining here, and it definitely won’t be my last! I started with the bread and cheese, which came out warm, fresh, and absolutely delicious. For my main dish, I chose my own pizza with pepperoni, mushrooms, and pineapple—everything was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. I also ordered the chicken wings, which were tender, well-seasoned, and a great addition to the meal.
On top of the great food, the service was friendly and welcoming from start to finish. Gianna was awesome! Overall, a fantastic experience! Highly recommended.

Very vibrant, very tasty and very loud new location for Mellow Mushroom. I remember not thinking much of my first visit to one at the Brandon location a decade ago, but this visit changed my mind! The pizza was great, and the drinks were phenomenal. The holiday special drinks were tasty. I got the apple pie cider, which was SO good I wanted to have more. Will come here again.

Edit: forgot to mention, I'm a little disappointed this location doesn't have Delirium Tremens like the Brandon location.

There was about a 20 minute wait at 7:00 on a Saturday night, but considering the restaurant is new, that was to be expected. Once inside, the restaurant is exceptionally clean! We noticed EVERY employee hustling. Not one person was standing around and doing nothing. We even noticed that the wait staff worked as a team, getting drinks out to tables that weren't even theirs.
Angelise was our server, and she was EXCEPTIONAL!! She had the most wonderful bubbly personality! She made great suggestions and was very attentive. She definitely made our first experience at this location, a great one! The food was absolutely delicious, and the drinks were perfect!
We will certainly be back!
