The service was awkward and rude. It was 30 minutes before closing and all the toppings were put away. When I asked for cookie dough the little man looked like I just called him a slur! Then he went to get the cookie dough from the back, and a squeaky voice screamed “ JUST TELL THEM WE DON’T HAVE COOKIE DOUGH”. DISGUSTING BEHAVIOR. They also had the hazelnut flavor in place of cinnamon bun which is a serious hazard for people with allergies. This place has seriously gone downhill. I always loved coming here but trust I will NEVER come back! These awful and rude employees should be held accountable for their actions. It’s not a hard job so stop acting so lazy. You’re not even making the treat, all you are doing is ringing me up so maybe don’t take the toppings away 30 minutes before you close, because then you’ll actually have to do your job.
Izzy is the best Menchies employee I have ever encountered! He was so pleasant and listened to me and my friends rant and helped us!
Tasted good 🤤
I’ve been taking my son here for years. The icecream is fine- but the place needs a serious cleaning! Staff is mostly teens, the floors are filthy with debris from
food everywhere. Many of the tables are seriously dirty and not sanitary to even consider sitting at. And for the love of humanity- please empty the trash. I noticed today also if you pay by card they try to automatically add an 18% tip. Yeah- not happening when all the staff does is weigh the cup and read the total. Clean this place up!!!
Edited to say: I see owner commented- absolutely no remarks about disgusting state the store is consistently in!
Extremely disappointing experience. Menchie’s advertises that they’re open until 10pm, but if you show up around 9pm, the machines are already turned off and “being cleaned.” This has happened to me on multiple occasions — and it’s not just me, the store is still full of people when this happens.
If you’re going to close early, then change the hours. Customers shouldn’t walk in expecting frozen yogurt and leave with nothing. It’s frustrating and feels misleading.
Updated: Coming for your dairy free options I LITERALLY could not choose from the other options. It’s poor business practice and it’s a poor response. And yes your staff literally said to me they were being cleaned, before closing, it happens on multiple visits. There was no trouble shooting or fixing, like you explained.
Spent $30 on 3 cups of yogurt, sat down with my daughters for less than 5 minutes. We were almost done when the female employee that was working tonight says “ummm it’s 10 o’clock we’re closed” with a little attitude behind her tone. There’s ways to say things to people without being rude especially when they’re coming into your business to spend a ridiculous amount of money on yogurt. She needs to be taught how to deal with customers and be empathetic. A simple “excuse me, we’re getting ready to close” would’ve been sufficient. It’s latinas like her that make us Latinos look bad! Smh do better.
Over priced, but the reason I'm leaving a 2 star review is because I served myself and when i paid, they had added a tip to the total! What in the what? I had to cancel the tip just to pay the base amount of $8 for a half a cup of froyo. :-《
This is my third review of this location, and unfortunately, the cleanliness remains unacceptable and a pure disgrace. It is extremely disappointing to witness such disregard for hygiene, especially given that cleanliness is a core value of the Menchie's brand.
The store was visibly dirty in nearly every area—dried yogurt residue on the exterior of the trash bins, grime under the tables, peeling stickers, and noticeable dirt on the white doors, windows, pink walls, and even the sign at the checkout counter. The overall condition made it uncomfortable to even consider sitting down.
Being busy should never be an excuse for neglecting basic cleanliness standards. I strongly urge management to address these issues promptly to maintain the integrity and reputation of the brand as this location needs a makeover. It might be a busy location with consistent business but pushing aside how the location itself looks is purely a disgrace
The owner in previous comments says it will be addressed immediately or thanks for the concern it was a temporary problem that’s been resolved is a bunch of BS as NOTHING has been fixed! You’re the owner/franchisee make it right!
You make a comment and the owner comes at me with an attitude and angry (his comment below) and yet others make the same comments that it’s disgusting and they don’t get the abusive backlash, learn constructive criticism! it shows you have no control of the business and it’s sad
A great variety of flavors available for anyone’s taste! I’ve been enjoying their frozen yogurt since I was a kid and go there often.🍦
Yogurt flavors and topping selection is always good. But it is wall to wall filthy in here today. Literally dirty chairs and tables and the staff are too busy leaning and chatting to be concerned. Needs a solid deep clean.

Went with my family visiting from Lubbock TX
and my niece works at a Mench’s in Lubbock
TX and we were comparing her store to this one here. The store here in Riverview was
disgusting. Most of machine’s lights were blinking, and toilet was overflowing.
Walked in immediately saw it fifthly all machines were blinking which means they are all low on product!! Went into the bathroom toilet was flooded with toilet paper all the topping were almost out and it was a mess around the toppings overall it was disgusting🤢
GREAT!!! Friendly staff
Menchies offers delicious frozen yogurt and this location doesn't disappoint. The staff is friendly, yogurt flavors and ingredients are almost always in stock, and it has a coloring station for young kids. Just be warned that you pay by weight and the default cups are very large, so if you let your kids self-serve they will fill it to the brim and it will be pricey! I suggest asking for the smaller cup for children, which they gladly provide. I'm a regular here - they serve the best desserts in town!
I come from south dakota and we got a store similar called cherry berry the only thing difference is that is has different flavors. This place is differently amazing whoever reading this has to come try it for themselves!
