First time in a Menchie’s. I had high expectations. A few issues really hurt this experience. First, the cleanliness and maintenance of this place is way substandard. Second, the cherries had a foul taste. Service was not great.

I went by here yesterday night, and can’t stop thinking about it, yummmmm, the woman who checked me out was extremely kind and friendly, and truly was helpful, I recommend this establishment to anyone in the area for a sweet treat

This would be my second review for this location as the franchisee can take it as positive or negative criticism, but doesn’t need to disagree with me or be combative as I’m the customer. This place has an ongoing problem as it is absolutely disgusting. The disgusting floors, dirty walls, paint chipping in each and every location, and the tops of the trash bins are horrid. The lack of cleanliness of this location is a total embarrassment and truly shows their lack of attention and carelessness.Menchies takes pride in their stores overall appearance and is one of their main goals. It’s the closest location, which is why we visit or I’d take my family to a further out location or competitor. They need to close and give this location a refresh. Window sills had chocolate into the caulking, chocolate and dry yogurt all over the chairs.Order new ones if they cant get clean but i wouldn’t want to sit down in any of them. If this was my store location, I would be surely embarrassed.

Came with my friends for a picnic. A girl named Mia was running the register. I loved her attitude and her swiftness. The place was clean and everything was stocked. Very nice employees and great place to be in for a quick treat. Will come again.Vegetarian options: They seem to always have 2-3 vegan options there. Very nice!

I went there with my kids today, and we had the most amazing experience. I had been to A few frozen chops and areas and none of them. Please me as much as coming here did. The frozen yogurt was amazing and everything was super clean. I could tell the staff were working really hard, and they were all so kind and so sweet. I’ve been to Menchie’s a few times prior, and I have never been let down down by my experience here. Whenever I get here, I can always tell that the people are trying hard to keep this place nice and clean, And even if it gets busy or they’re not able to attend to everything on the spot, I still am aware that these people are trying they’re very hard to get everything done. I really love the environment like I said before every time I’ve come in everyone’s been so nice so kind and helpful to us.

The woman at the counter gave us the most humiliating and degrading experience. We were going to sit and stay while eating with our 2 year old but the passive aggressive racial experience was too much. The worker watched us from the moment we step in and didn’t take her attention from us until we left. There were at least 2 other families there. My 2 year old went to touch and hold on of the stuffed animals that was for sale at the counter while we were paying. We spent near $30 and when my child went to grab a stuffed cow animal and a lanyard the lady to him he had to purchase it and that it was for sale as if he was going to steal it or reach in his pocket and give her the money. She felt the need to reach for the items to retrieve the from my child as if we weren’t standing there closely supervising him. He was not disturbing anyone and simply being a toddler. We were the only African American family there and the experience was shaming. We will not be coming back. When we were on our way out the lady asked to give our son a coloring sheet but we felt too uncomfortable to stay or take anything.

The best around. If you can’t find something you like here you are just too picky. Plenty of soft serve options and every topping you can imagine. I like the fruity sorbet and they always have a few options to pick and they rotate them often. I would highly recommend, this is the best ice cream shop within 15 minutes!
Today I decided to order a Froyo bowl, but saw how close it was and went into the Winthrop location. Upon entering, there was no one visible. A young, Latin American lady came out to greet me, she suddenly looked disappointed and went back into the back. This was my first experience getting a Froyo bowl, and had some questions. She stayed in the back for a long time until other customers came in, and then she came out and stayed out. I am not someone who looks for bias and I try to see the good in all, but based on how she looked at me and completely disregarded me, but appeared nicer to others makes me feel like my skin color (the only visible difference between us) is why I was treated that way. I asked for a topping that I saw online, but I could not find it there. I was informed that they did not have it. The customer corrected her and informed her where that topping was. That could have been an honest mistake, but she did not seem to care. This treatment made me feel so bad that I lost my appetite. I left there feeling really down and will never give this place my business again.
